I'm open to a trade, but Myles Turner has said he wants to have a central role in a team's offense. He's tired of being a "glorified role player." Well, guess what he'd be doing if he came to the Dubs?
And there is no way in heaven, hell, or anywhere on earth that I'd give up Kuminga or Poole for him. So I think he's a non-option, practically speaking. Myers once got Wiggins and a #2 overall pick for DeAngelo Russell, so hope springs eternal, but I just don't see it. I like all of the guys we've got and can see their roles. Who are we giving up?
Now that we've entered the kuminga era I'm all for giving moody more minutes, I think if his shot starts falling he can be more productive then the current version of D Lee

Points allowed per 100 possessions in the restricted area (rank):
GSW 21.48 (1)
PHX 24.08 (2)
UTA 25.52 (6)
CLE 30.79 (22)
----
Link to the full data is at the bottom.
It's interesting how PHX and GSW profile the same defensively in the paint even though PHX has traditional bigs. We both protect the rim and force teams to make those 3-10ft flips and floaters. Also, that 2.6-point difference is massive... for comparison, that's the same difference between 1st and 9th place in the "3pt" zone.
You can kind of infer the UTA scheme as well: protect the rim and 3pt line without fouling, cede everything else.
Also, note that IND, with blocks leader Myles Turner, allows 7+ more points per 100 at the rim than GSW.
I'm down to do anything to improve the team. I am even open to a move that sacrifices the future a bit for a significant improvement in our chances the next 1-3 years. Problem is not only do I not see one, but I have never seen (a realistic) one anywhere. With the matching salaries constraints there just aren't a lot of options. Until I hear even a slightly realistic suggestion, I am also stay the course. If we get healthy and out of slumps, it's a pretty good course, anyway.
How about more minutes for a 6'6" dude with long arms to make up up for the 6'6" dude with long arms who is on the shelf? Err ... that would be Moody fro Draymond. That's a starting 5 of Curry-Klay-Moody-Wiggs-Looney. Bench mob: Poole-D Lee-GP2-JK & Ottomatic. Hey, it's Detroit, we should be able to shuffle the deck a bit and not worry about losing. Let Moody wear his Santa Cruz Warrior uni and watch him drop 30+.
Without Dray$ the team needs to play with more urgency, he has a way of dialing up everyone’s intensity when they start slow or play sloppy, without Dray$ those games easily devolve into 4th quarter blowouts

Off-topic: my Dub Nation HQ annual subscription is already coming up on its *second* renewal. Has it really been two whole years now since the Voxodus? It's been a blast. Cheers, and here's to more!
> Gary Payton II has been upgraded to probable tonight for the Warriors. Trending toward a return. Andre Iguodala is now questionable with a left hip issue. Moses Moody will be available. Banged his knee in a G-League game recently, but is fine.
It all comes down to Steph. When Steph was superhuman, the Dubs were superhuman. When Steph became mortal, the Dubs offense and record followed. I haven't seen enough to say that there's some revolutionary defense that has been developed in the last 15-20 games. Steph has just not quite found himself.
When/If he does, I think all the lesser worries follow. Klay will get more open shots and stop pressing. Wiggins will be a great tertiary role. Poole will not be as relied on for efficient numbers. Easier said than done of course, but Steph is and remains the star this whole solar system revolves around. Now we just need it to shine as brightly again.
We have to start learning to play without Dray, in terms of urgency, it is more urgent that GP2 returns, that Steph is Steph again and that the bench has confidence in his shots again
Wiggins reads DNHQ,* confirms the team is ready for home cooking to get back on track!

Andrew Wiggins: “It’s time to get back on track… we went through a little rough patch, and now it’s time to get back on track, and there’s no better place to do that than at home.”
My feed currently has no commentary.
And it's beautiful.
Have I missed it or is there a brilliant new DNHQ logo? Asking for a friend.
I will renew my daily prayers for Steph to return to us, the Steph that we love, the one with the butt pad. Come back butt pad Steph!
(I know we love the other Steph too. But I miss BPS).

If wiseman was at Memphis this year and only played 3 games. He would go #1 in this years draft.
