Klay currently 0-7 as Dal leads Denver 81-69 with 6:17 left in third!

I missed a big part of this game. How was Kuminga?

Some good, some bad. Took control of the 2nd unit which I liked. Made a couple of smart passes. Out of control a couple times.

Not very good, imo. Defense was solid, but his jumper still looks broken, his FT shooting still sucks, and for all the reports of him working on his bag, he really does nothing very interesting off the bounce other than drive from the top with the D completely flattened out and threatening shooters around him.

Year four, and he still looks a lot like the guy from year one. :-(

He had 7 points. Meh.

I only watched the 3rd Q and 4th. He was aggressive and made a few good drives creating when no one else really could. Made a few questionable decisions as well but he looked solid also rebounded well

And the second unit with him doing a lot of the handling extended the lead before Steph came back in.

Meh

The intensity of this Dallas/Denver game is like 50% of our game lol

Well the pelicans are more motivated than both of those teams, given the hole they are in, plus the chance to update the West leaders and be in position to advance in the cup

Klay doing some nice facilitating, 0-2 from three to start

Good D last play and an assist though

Dallas-Denver game is on in ESPN. Doris Burke is insufferable.

Insufferable is too nice

I do not acknowledge the existence of any NBA Cup. I am calling their bluff. There is no such thing. Preseason, regular season, playoffs, championship, summer league.

You can't convince me otherwise, no matter how much it may benefit a Gulf state's airline.

The first time I saw the name ‘Emirates NBA Cup’, I was confused and thought they were playing the games in Saudi Arabia.

That was an ugly win but a win nonetheless, despite sloppy plays by Steph and Green (four TOs each). Wiggs won us this game with his consistent play and 30 points.

And 9/9 on FTs

Always close enough to be stupid

And the reverse

Draymond is usually pretty reliable from the stripe in the clutch. Blech. Had to bring down an otherwise great game from the stripe with a 2-6.

2 intentional misses?

Not the first miss.

The Warriors 3-0 in NBA Cup play but the point differential is weak

I don’t really care about the NBA Cup.

In other news, for things that really matter, Dubs move to 12-3 on the season

Thanks to that weak ass Memphis game

Expand full comment

Mostly cause of the ridiculous whistles end of the Memphis game

Can we bring back 2015 Andre Iguodala just for these end of game situations

Good experience for later in the season. And still got the dub. But man that was an ugly finish!

Wiggs with two consecutive absolute flawless masterpieces.

When Wiggins is locked in it’s so obvious lol. That’s why it’s annoying when he goes 3-8 or something from the line

Phewwww, near collapse but got the W. Happy Friday!
