Boy, are Dubs gonna park it in Miami for 4 days or so? Jimmy taking the boys to all the hot clubs

Butler with the triple double, his first as a Warrior. 16 pt, 12 assists, 11 boards.

Expand full comment

He had a triple double the other day

Expand full comment

I thought he already had a couple with the Dubs before this game?

Career 3FG%

Thompson .412

Curry .423

Post .431

Expand full comment

That makes Steph the third best three-point shooter on the team behind Kerr (45.4%) and Post

Expand full comment

Just sayin'

Expand full comment

Look at this way Curry gonna have a long rest before the real season begins! Post just need to hold down the forth

Expand full comment

Exactly

Expand full comment

Yep. Mandatory late season rest. That's been a winning formula for at least two of the championship seasons.

I just watched the replay on Steph’s injury…HOW THE FUCK WAS THAT NOT A FOUL?!

Expand full comment

I keep telling y'all, Lacob won't pay Adam Silver his protection money, so Steph doesn't get the calls.

Expand full comment

He got squashed between two Raptors right in front of the ref!

Expand full comment

Yeah I’ve given up understanding how the nba officiates

Expand full comment

Yeah. So friggin' nuts how often they miss the most blatant stuff with him.

Expand full comment

You mean HOW THE FUCK WAS THAT FOUL NOT CALLED because it definitely was a foul

Expand full comment

Correct, I’m just trying to argue the blind refs perspective

Punk Basketball predicted “a nice comfortable evening”. Not.

Expand full comment

What a punk!

You never want to lose 30 for any amount of time but a week would be best case scenario here. The Jimmy led Dubs can carry us for a bit while Steph gets some much needed rest

Expand full comment

yeah, I'm not too unhappy about it. Get him some rest. As long as he can come back somewhere in that closing stretch.

Expand full comment

This isn't rest, it's an injury. If he just needed rest, Kerr could sit him. And we need every win.

Expand full comment

I'm not saying it's ideal.

But, we'll find out what we're made of here. It's not like JB and Steph were going to be healthy for every playoff game, either.

Expand full comment

Whew. Not pretty, but I liked that we hit our FTs and took care of the ball when it mattered.

We missed QP's shooting/spacing down the stretch.

Knicks and Kings: Lost a trap game

Pacers and Warriors: Won a trap game

Expand full comment

Phew! Win

Now rest Steph for a week and hope he fully recovers. He should not have played today.

Expand full comment

Steph was fine and absolutely should have played today

Expand full comment

I don't how you can say "he is tired from XYZ" after his worst game of the season and have him come back after one game rest. He needed more.

Assuming this is a short term injury, it may be blessing in disguise

Expand full comment

I thought he looked great, under control, making the right plays, active on defense. If it wasn’t for a random injury there wouldn’t be any of this after the fact second guessing

Expand full comment

Hopefully he doesn’t need more than that…

Expand full comment

Yup. Only two games over next seven days. I think we can go 1-1.

Expand full comment

I wonder if we've ever won a game where Draymond had the most attempts before.

Expand full comment

Did JB miss that last FT on purpose?

Expand full comment

yes, he did not trust Kerr to foul the shooter before the 3-pt attempt - THANK you JIMMY!

Expand full comment

Nah, that wouldn't make sense. Sinking that would have made it a two-possession game.

Expand full comment

Phew. And now our watch begins.

Expand full comment

Ok then. Never in doubt

Expand full comment

thank you to Jimmy for NOT letting kerr decide to foul or not to foul on the 3-pt shooter!
