Seems like he plays better when he's in a team-first mode. Curious if he'll pick up SGA with his "hands-behind-the-back" posture that he adopted early in the season.
He had that last year, too. I think he's doing better about challenging shots this year, but it's still not good, and he also seems to be conscious of the fouls.
He really needs an offseason with an on-ball defense coach to teach him technique.
[Charania] BREAKING: The Dallas Mavericks and owner Patrick Dumont are expected to fire general manager Nico Harrison at a 10 am central time meeting on Tuesday, sources tell me and Tim MacMahon
Shams : The Mavericks are firing Nico Harrison nine months after the jarring and stunning Luka Doncic trade - a move for which Dumont took accountability and accepted as a mistake in a court-side interaction with a fan on Monday night.
Good riddance. Regardless if it was Nico’s idea or the owners being cheap, Nico massively screwed up by not getting enough back in the trade & handling the PR portion atrociously.
That's the reward you get for successfully getting the number 1 pick against incredible odds? I mean sure, he traded their star player entering his prime for a guy with a bad injury history but that is a mistake anybody could have made.
With both of these guys (especially Wemby), the trend lately has been to defend them with smaller, stouter players, and have bigs lurking for help. Would not be at all surprised to see the Warriors adopt a similar strategy.
Fi-re Ni-co!
Clap-clap, clap-clap-clap!
How many free throws is the push-off salesman SGA going to get tonight! Yes, I just detest his game!
Win one for the stolen mascot!
Great post, but no mention at all of JK.....what's up with him....
This game is going to be a decent test case of whether the latest stretch of heroball is because he thinks he has to carry the offense with Steph out.
I don't expect him to look good (don't expect anyone to look good tonight), but I'd like to see him try to pass more and shoot 3s a lot less.
Okc pressure defense is going to give everyone trouble...but maybe especially Kuminga?

What will Quinten Post have to do to get the writers on this site to start spelling his name correctly? 15 threes in a game? A few dunks over Wemby?
MUST BE AI
Homemade stroopwafels will do the trick, none of that store bought stuff
Just think of him as "five and dime"
Prediction: OKC gets their second loss as Curry makes all of the 3 attempts saved up from the games he missed.

I guess the owners can’t fire themselves.
Nico obviously screwed up the franchise and also the league (fairness-wise… ratings-wise it was great), but the owners okayed his decisions.
This is as shocking as AD being out with injury.
Oh, and Luka is averaging 37-9-9 right now. LOL.
he will likely get a job as adam silvers lackey since we know who really pulled the strings on this trade :-)

He took an incendiary position with fan outtrage over the trade. That's what ultimately got him fired.
game day!!
If Post and Horford can not get crushed by Holmgren and Wambanyama, in the next two games, that would be a big plus for us.
