OK, I probably only last 5 minutes as an assistant coach, but my starting lineup would be Curry, Poole, Dray$, Wiggs and……wait for it…..GP2 at the 5, I can just hear the snickering until the game starts and …..wait for it….he wins the tip off!
I would really love to see some JK minutes against Wagner if nothing more than just to have some sort of measuring stick, since we're likely not going to see enough consistent minutes from JK for at least most of this season to make any other judgements.
As the occasional reminder of how incredible the 73-9 regular season was, there are currently 25 NBA teams who have just as many or more losses than the Warriors had that entire season.
Good to see he's stuck in the NBA. He's definitely an NBA player imo with his shooting and athleticism. He's certainly more useful than a 5'11'' PG who doesn't actually create shots but I digress. Would be nice to see him get a guaranteed NBA contract in the next few years.
We’re going to Curry rested more often (on the road: always?) on back to backs. Hard question whether to sit him against the best or worst teams. I vote for the latter.
All this chatter about who they should have drafted. Honestly I think this draft was so deep that it all amounts to splitting hairs at both the 7 and 14 picks. the team is a threat to win it all this year even without the rookies making more than a minor impact. Come on people, be happy!

Instructions: screenshot this post and print it out. If anyone should ask you, "Hey, if you're such a fan why aren't you watching the game," you may present this coupon. They should then mail the coupon in for procesing to: DNHQ at 555 Diehard Lane, Middleton, OK. (We process all requests from a call center in a flyover red state where labor is cheaper.)
Offer may only be used three (3) times per year. Not valid during playoffs. Not valid if a player might be breaking an NBA record. Not valid for a comeback game of any key injured player. Not valid if you learn mid-game that Steph or Klay is going insane. Not valid for games vs. Suns, Utah, Lakers, Bucks, Nets. Chicago maybe.

Update: Steph is 23 3FGM from breaking Ray Allen's all time record. We have two home games before the long 5 game east coast trip. It's very unlikely he'll get the record at home unless he goes ballistic tonight and makes like 16. Damn it. I feel like he'll most likely get it in NY and maybe that's not a bad alternative since MSG is a historic arena
Before the draft I wanted the Dubs to go with Wagner and, for reasons still unknown to me, Trey Murphy III. Wagner, it appears, could have been contributing for the Warriors this season and might develop into a quality point-forward down the line. We may never know TM3's true potential, cuz he's on the Pelicans and there's a god chance his talent will never be actuated.
On the other hand, I'm intrigued by Kuminga and Moody. Kuminga has an effortless athleticism that's mesmerizing to watch and screams potential. If he can develop a decent 3pt shot and put everything else together, he might be better than Wagner in the long run. Moody seems like he could develop into a good 3&D guy, with an emphasis on the 3 part of that equation (although, he really needs to work on his hops and quickness).
Overall, though, it seems like Wagner's well-rounded game and high IQ would have fit in great with the Dubs younger players, especially if his 3pt percentage keeps improving. Of the Dubs' young guns, only Poole can run the offense. Wagner's ability to play point-forward is something that I doubt Kuminga will ever be able to bring to the table; at least not to the same degree. And I'm still high in TR3's 3pt and defensive potential and great positional size.
The unbelievable creativity of Curry’s shots cannot be explained away by DNA, pedigree or even coaching but to the countless hours spent playing HORSE with brother Seth in their backyard as a kid

What's encouraging to me is that the Dubs are so deep that even when Steph goes ice cold, the Dubs are still in a position to win. Also encouraging - the Dubs haven't been blown out in a single game this year.

Game Thread scheduled for 6 - could you regulars help move the masses once it opens please?

Duby, I think the hulk hogan reference which made me gufaw, shows your age more than rocket boosters ;)
Power’s on and internet is back up! 👍🏼

Looks like I might miss tonight’s game because our power is out. We’re getting clobbered here on the islands with this storm system.
In my town, we’ve had about 1/2 our average annual rainfall over the last 2 days and it’s supposed to keep raining through tomorrow.
The town on the hill above us got a foot of rain in 24 hours, and it’s all rolling down on this way.
