"cutting themselves on both ends of the sword" - Give the Nuggets credit: It takes skill to cut oneself on the pommel of a sword. 😁

Lol, the TNT dude called it the new Hampton 5. Like, that is definitely the one thing it is not.

Draymond Green has been doing a new pod, which I am ambivalent about. Most of the early episodes show good conventional talent, but he comes across as so calculating, like LeBron. He blows smoke up everyone's skirt, like a Hollywood actor who doesn't want anyone getting mad at him.

And that alone is not a problem. But given that his on-court persona is Draymond blowing up, getting techs, and screaming at people because he just can't help being the passionate ball of fire and we have to take the bad with the good... it's unsettling to know that he really is much more politic and in control than that. I now think he *can* keep a lid on it; he just doesn't.

But the last two episodes contain some great stuff! He does an interview with Curry in which I love his questions. He talks about the Denver series at a level of detail that an NBA star *should* be bringing to the table.

But then he lost me again with his rant about reporters voting on awards. Like other players, he just can't stand that a reporter who might have a grudge can affect what a player's bonus is. I say sure, but what's the alternative? He says "Have a committee of people who really know basketball do it." Oh, like those people can't possibly have personal biases? Doesn't make sense to base it on stats either... then you'll just get players stat-stuffing instead of trying to win.

I don't think he'd like the logical conclusion if he thought it through. If bias is the enemy, then just drop the bonuses altogether. They didn't have to be put into the CBA. If a player making $15 million just doesn't bring it the same way as if he had a chance at a few more, then he reaps what he sows.

I’m nervous about tonight’s game Especially if FACU plays extended rotation minutes

Denver is down two in the series. They have been embarrassed on national TV. Their star player has been outplayed and looked helpless at times. The game is on their home court today. They will come out angry to redeem themselves. So, I’m just wishing for an injury free game.

Note: Igoudala should just sit out the Denver series and conserve his health for the next round (hopeful that we advance).

Honestly I’m surprised no one’s thought of “Klay Poole of Green Curry” yet.

Talk about making opposing teams sick to their stomach…

OT: Just out of curiosity, which teams from the east do you think present the most problems for the Dubs in a hypothetical match up?

Assuming full health, I’d probably say the Celtics followed closely by the Bucks and Sixers.

Per ESPN:

The plan is to keep Curry coming off the bench until his minute load has been increased enough where he can play his normal rotation.
