JTA is good at basketball!

JMG looked much better in that game and might be good at basketball too!

Not to beat the dead horse about Draymond’s press conference, but I saw comments that he said the right things and seemed genuinely apologetic, but…

Did anyone else get the sense that Draymond kept saying how wrong he was, but still didn’t quite believe it? When he said (in essence) he didn’t want to say more because he didn’t want to make Poole look bad and when he complained about the editing of the video purposely making him look worse than it was, I couldn’t help but think he was itching to say more. Then there was the whole apologizing to Poole and Poole’s family for embarrassing him sounding a bit too close to “Sorry for making you look like a b…”.

There was another point where he said he wasn’t raised to count other people’s money, but I’m assuming he wasn’t raised to full-force sucker punch teammates, yet here we are.

I can’t help but feel like Draymond is going to talk more (on his podcast, perhaps) at some point and it’ll be a step backward in the healing process.

Also, with all the talk about “rebuilding trust”, I keep wondering whether the team is just as pissed at him for the Chris Haynes tweet (assuming that was Draymond) throwing Poole under the bus.

I only got to see the highlights, but really nice to see what the young guys provided last night.

Baldwin could end up being the steal of the draft.

Baldwin gets fooled by a nice hesitation move from Nunn but doesn't the movement for the above guy look way better than the movement for the below guy?

Kendrick Nunn will forever hold a grudge and score tons against us.

JP doesn't stop to surprise me. He didn't show the faintest emotional glitch after 5 days that would have fell a rhino. He had all the right to a bad shooting or turnovers-plagued game, and instead he was awesome and led the comeback charge. Ready for a well deserved bag.

It will take time to adjust the plays and the D, without Mr. D. Green. But tonight I have seen some improvements along the match. Some important stuff: it is responsibility of everyone to push up the rhythm and look for the fast break; we should definitely finish the close games with the Trimurti Steph, JP, KT, it's too much firepower for anyone; Jerome and Lamb, I still don't understand, better Q+Q then; PBJ can crack the rotation before xmas.

Can’t wait for Draymond to come back. Hopefully everyone’s the better for it both in terms of on court play and in a better emotional space.

I almost forgot how much fun JP3 is to watch.

Notice the difference on 9ffense without draymond, a lot more pick and rolls, a lot more of curry and poole with the ball in their hands, ddv is looking solid as the third pg as well.

Yall think we start poole and bring klay off the bench? Or just start curey poole klay wiggins looney with no draymond?

Takeaways:

- It's a pleasant change of pace to watch a basketball game where you don't really care who wins, you just want the important Warriors to not dribble it off a foot.

- And more importantly, no one got hurt.

- I'm happy to see that Jordan Poole is working hard to confirm my suspicion that Jordan Poole is gonna get paid, and hopefully by the Warriors. That dude is awesome to watch.

Size challenged W's. James Wiseman playing up to his size, Looney playing over his size, PBJ only a little below his size, Kuminga still doesn't know where to go, so less than his size.

My early impression of Ty Jerome is that he is slow.

DDV continues to leave me underwhelmed. He can hustle, for sure, but his skills look inconsistent.

PBJ needs more minutes. A great Klay clone, catch and shooter. Trade Klay.

Kuminga & DDV had the worst +/- stats.

Warriors need a spark plug like McClung.

Curry/Poole/Wiggs/Looney are solid.

JMG is a defensive presence. Too bad he is not a big.

Warriors need to focus more on developing Moody, including him offensively.

Warriors will not win the division this year.

Warriors can't win without McClung.

I am happy for them to start overcoming their trauma.
