SeaDubs live (against Scoot and the Ignite) on NBC locally now - tuned in just in time to watch Gui drop a Trevion-like dime to ... Trevion under the basket for the easy layup. Gonna have to get down to Santa Cruz for some of these games - we have an entertaining junior squad!
SAN FRANCISCO — At some point during the second half Friday night, Steph Curry noticed that J.B. Bickerstaff, the Cavaliers’ coach, was actively instructing his big men to sag deeper into their drop coverage, giving Curry more cushion coming off high screens.
So Curry spoke up in the huddle.
“He came to the bench saying, ‘Hey, everybody, just space out,'” Draymond Green said, relaying Curry’s words. “‘I want to pull the ball out closer to half court. Because he is telling the big to stay further down the floor.'”
It was disgusting to see the Cavs players really flopping and overselling the physical contacts last night and the refs, one in particular, turning a blind eye and enabling them. When is the League going to address these two issues? Refs should be held accountable. They are having way too much impact on deciding the outcome of games.
Vote: what would you rather have witnessed as a basketball/GSW fan?
Back-to-back Durantpionships with Curry as facilitator/gravity/2nd offensive option (that jumpball-to-football-pass-to-alleyoop sequence! supervillainy! 'whose team is it?' debates! banners! cringey press conferences!) where championships were a near certainty unless there were season-ending injuries....
OR
3 more years of GSW with Curry in the 2015-2016, 2021-2022 role; no guarantee of championships, but getting to see Unanimous continue to be the unquestioned top offensive option...?
After watching this man shoot a look away three to tie the score with 1:26 left in the 4th, I'm starting to resent having missed 3 years of, well, That.
Kerr from his post-game presser regarding the challenged foul: “we knew it wasn’t going to be reversed … even though it was obviously not a foul … will be interesting to see the last two minute report”. He’s not wrong, but a) L2M will back up the refs and b) this he might get fined for that.
Remember last season when Steph had a midseason monthlong slump and experts like me said that it was fair to speculate if it was merely a slump or the signs of aging in a star who will never get back to his best levels?
Curry is a much better on ball defender now then klay, its crazy. Idk why kerr had klay on mitch in the fourth, would rather of had wiggins on mitch, curry on garland klay on levert

When are the Jazz going to fall back to earth? This is annoying that the Jazz AND Blazers kinda look legit…
As expected L2M shows how the refs gifted the Warriors another win: https://official.nba.com/l2m/L2MReport.html?gameId=0022200182. Truly disgusting how the Warriors are benefiting from the officiating so much /s

Apparently the Celtics are doing some insanely unentertaining stuff to game a shot clock loophole… and of course flopping while doing it:

Last night, Steph brought using the rim to screen off a defender to a new level. Some of those reverse layups were incredible.

After the latest game, Steph is #1 in most advanced metrics including BPM, WAR, and RAPTOR with a very slight lead over Jokic.

Yeah, me neither.

And ZOMG… how did we win a game where a good opponent got like 15 gifted FTA…
Next two against the Kings and Spurs, the two right ahead of us in the standings… let’s go!
Bench had a positive +/-!!!!
For all the complaining about our guys’ minutes, go look at the Cleveland starters minutes… yes, they’re younger, but still.
