Post game win streak thread: Curry does it again - 40 points, and a happy win to all!
Warriors defense shows up at the end; Curry gets help from Wiggins and the bench
Once again Stephen Curry turned it on and carried the team. But we’ve seen equal performances come up short this season. Tonight’s Golden State Warriors were a beautiful - if a little messy - thing to behold. And as has been true for a good long while now, it was mostly about Curry being unstoppable (baby).

Andrew Wiggins helped Curry’s 40 points matter by chipping in 20 points.
Draymond Green helped with his suitably weird double double: 10 rebounds, 12 assists, and two points.
Kevon Looney helped with timely defense and rebounding. His rebound and pass to Curry late was one of the final footfalls in the march to tonight’s win, but he was solid throughout the night.
Klay Thompson is still trying to get his shots to fall (and they will, eventually) but managed to pitch in with plenty of two way magic. Alongside Curry in the pick-and-roll in the 4th quarter in particular, it felt like Klay finally relaxed into the game and let it come to him.
That’s two wins in a row!
SeaDubs live (against Scoot and the Ignite) on NBC locally now - tuned in just in time to watch Gui drop a Trevion-like dime to ... Trevion under the basket for the easy layup. Gonna have to get down to Santa Cruz for some of these games - we have an entertaining junior squad!
SAN FRANCISCO — At some point during the second half Friday night, Steph Curry noticed that J.B. Bickerstaff, the Cavaliers’ coach, was actively instructing his big men to sag deeper into their drop coverage, giving Curry more cushion coming off high screens.
So Curry spoke up in the huddle.
“He came to the bench saying, ‘Hey, everybody, just space out,'” Draymond Green said, relaying Curry’s words. “‘I want to pull the ball out closer to half court. Because he is telling the big to stay further down the floor.'”
