"The NBA is shutting down the G League Ignite team after this season, canceling the development squad of elite draft prospects and veterans that was launched in 2020, sources briefed on the matter tell The Athletic.

The NBA launched the Ignite at a point when no other American pro league provided a path for pre-draft eligible players to be significantly compensated to play before entering the draft. With the rise of name, image and likeness (NIL) and the transfer portal in college basketball, the need for the Ignite elite team was eliminated. Now, NIL allows players to earn money while going to college and receiving NCAA experience."

If somehow this Warriors team drags themselves to the finals, that might be it for the OGs.

News Release from TJ D ATOLL: He’s not just a pogo stick slipping to the rim.

“Trayce Jackson-Davis isn’t a seasoned veteran like Bogut was, while he isn’t as tall as McGee, Jones, and Wiseman. But he has flashed potential to be the kind of dual threat that Bogut was — both as an athletic pogo stick of a roll-man and as a floor inverter who can seamlessly integrate within their base offensive philosophy.”

“While running ballscreen actions as the roll man is still his ideal offensive role, the fact that he can also be a decent decision maker within the Warriors’ base offensive scheme is a welcomed bonus — which also allows Kerr to use him occasionally as the decision-making big in 5-out actions.”

In Game 6, Curry scored 33 points in the second half to eliminate the Rockets, and barged into the Warriors’ locker room yelling defiantly, “Kick me off the court again, boy.”

I mentioned to Paul that that incident was perhaps his greatest villain moment.

“Yeah,” said Paul, unsmiling, “so, what’s funny about that is, that’s not what happened.”

Good article overall if you subscribe.

On this wonderful morning after, I am here to report that Enigma, an as yet-to-be-made-public and vastly superior AI system took up the challenge to de-enigmatize the enigima we all know as Wiggins.

And the answer for the remainder of this season was...wait for it.... here it is ... it is .. 42!

Now, I am not interpreting that as:

- Wiggs will play well enough to get us to 42 wins

- I am definitely not taking that as - Wiggs will play like a 42 year old NBA all star

- I am tending to land on the side of an interpretation that says 42 is going to be his average each game when summing his Points+rebounds+Steals !

Interpret away DNHQ!

During an episode of the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, Draymond Green spoke very openly about his suspension, revealing new details and how it affected his teammates.

“It was a very weird space," Green said. "It's like, I need you all. So a part of me is like, yo, I need to be coming in every day. But on the other side of the fence, I really need to get so far away from this shit. It's kind of this weird thing. And I think we found a balance. I was away, and I wasn't talking basketball. You know what I'm saying? I wasn't hitting them, talking. We just hitting each other, chopping it up. They hit me like, yo, what's up? Man, how are you doing? We miss you, bro. Like, what's going on? I'm talking to them, and we just talking. For what I am to this team, I'm the one in the group chat if I ain't playing [saying], ‘like, yo, see this at halftime?’ I'm not doing none of that. I'm just away from it. A couple games, I'll be honest, I ain't even watch. I'm like, no, I'm not in it. I'm out of this. I’m not in it."

Podz does many things well… but he just can’t score in the NBA right now… completely unable to convert simple layups at this point…

Wiggins up to 36% from 3… JK at 32.7% and Klay at 38.6%

These guys’ 3pt numbers aren’t bad, and they’re trending up.

Its kinda crazy that we got roughly the 5th best shot blocker in the NBA in the second round.

Plus, he's not half bad on the perimeter though he needs some definite improvement 15 ft+

Watching some of Klays shots these last few games and he seems to be still taking many shots with the same high degree of difficulty he was earlier in the year BUT he’s making them. The same shot selection that was driving us insane earlier in the year. Just feel everything was more mental than physical prior to his move to the bench.

How are people going to feel here when the Dubs clinch the 10 seed and basically pack it in?

One thing I'd like the infographers to start including are players' Vertical Reach.

Height listings are kind of redundant if they don't factor in wingspan AND vertical potential.

Draymond maybe taller than JK and have a longer wingspan but JK's Vertical Reach would be a lot higher (also age would make it a stat that needs to be measured annually).

This would make it more exciting to watch if you knew Player A has the Vert Reach edge on Player B. E.g GPII vs Jokic

Edit: I always think Dray is 6'8" but he's only 6'6" vs JK's 6'7" but my point stands
