Keep in mind our winning window revolves around Dray, not Steph. We don't win without Dray and he's hard to replace. We've got a 2-3 year window for another chip assuming Dray's body holds up. Bring Bron on. Clear thinking on this. Its only about chips for Steph within Dray's window. Time isn't our friend considering the youth of the up and coming teams. Holding off Memphis gets harder and harder.
If we can grab him in the next 36 hours, we can get him on our side for tomorrow’s game, rather than having to face him. Logistics would be easy too — no need to fly him across the country to join us, since he’s already in place in SA.
Gitter done, Bob! In my twisted brain it’s being hashed out as we speak, with the only hang-up being that the Warriors are offering Wiseman + Rollins while the Spurs are haggling for Wiseman + Moody. 😊
Steve Kerr on why Moses Moody hasn't seen the floor lately:
"There's only so many guys you can play and frankly, Anthony Lamb and Ty Jerome have both played really well and played positions of need for us given the injuries."
By the way, no one is talking about how EVERY team we play is getting into the bonus EVERY single quarter. We are reaching and fouling. Fix this one problem and we win probably 5 more games this year so far including the Suns - even given how great they played. Suns went 27/28 from the stripe and shot a whopping 96% from the line. We basically spot our opponents a whopping 10 point cushion every game. There are super-star calls as well as super-team calls but why should refs ever give us the benefit of the doubt at this point. We've squandered that cache. Just sayin.
I'm really trying to figure Moody out. Last year he was a beast off the bench. To the point where we basically let Lee go for the rookies' upside. After watching an inspired Lee last night, I cant for the life of me ever see Moody being that hungry. I love his maturity and poise but it seems Moody is evolving into an insecure three point guy that does nothing else for the stat line. Kerr must agree because he's on a very short leash at this point...Right ahead of Rollins on the end of the bench. Help me out here...?
The Spurs game this Friday will not be an easy win. Spurs were up after the 1st quarter against the Grizzlies and continued to play hard even after going down double digits from the 2nd to the 4th quarter. They even managed to pull the game within 3 with 2:41 left to go in the 4th quarter before the Grizzlies managed to pull away a little.
Spurs also beat the Knicks at home a couple of weeks ago and only lost by 3, 1, and 5 against the Knicks on the road, Mavericks, and Celtics at home, respectively.
The Spurs are set to break the all-time attendance record on Friday at 63,592. Should be an exciting atmosphere for the players and fans. Hopefully the Dubs are locked in and compete from start to finish.

If you wonder how motivation changes the game, here are some facts:
- GP2 last season fast healed a broken elbow to be in the finals three weeks later, this season he played ONE game so far;
- Otto-matic was active and fighting until mid-june last year, this season is already over for him;
Motivation is all or nothing, without middle nuances. With motivation, we're contending for the title; without, we're lottery. That's about it.
BTW. Congrats Damion, you sure are made of the stuff of champs.
TRUE, I'm guilty of poor grammar. I didn't fix it because I was sleepy and I suck at writing on a phone.
Also, thanks for the Andre facts! Yes, from the 2nd level on the away end, I saw the ref throw that T 😳

Of course the Suns are losing by 30 in the fourth vs the Nuggets. Wad shot.

Per the press release about JMG, JK, and JW, they’re supposed to be reassessed today… anybody see any updates? Anybody see if JK still in the boot?
Man… NOP struggling means 3 seed is/was achievable… but not with janky rotations, rusty stars, injured guys, and general malaise…
If we don't play with fire and focus in San Antonio, it will be time for a long overdue clipboard breaking. Maybe two clipboards for good measure.

Welcome to the "got swept by the Pistons" club, T-Wolves.
