Was just perusing the other teams in the west and they must be selling a lot of Valium in Portland right now. They have lost their last 4 games by 2, 1,1, and 8 points, before that won a game by 1 point, and before that lost by 1 point. Better to do it the Warriors way ad mix in the occasional blow out I think rather than have random endings in 5 of 6 games.
Jokic is clearly a special player, and I haven’t watched him enough to know if he deserves the MVP. But he does seem to be a minor liability on defense. When it gets to playoff basketball, I bet he will get abused.
That game was awesome even if Draymond really was sloppy with the ball (which usually angers me). Felt like everyone on the floor was playing with intensity and also cohesion. I loved seeing Mulder show up a bit and KOs handoff to the trailing JTA.
Klay wants to be out there so bad. I’m thinking he said something like “with how you’ve been playing, and the guys rallying around the system and playing like a true team, it’s like old times... wish I could be out there.”
Watch both Oubre and Wiggins on this "system" play. Feels like just yesterday when some Warrior fans were saying Wiggins and especially Oubre were too dumb to grasp a motion offense, and that it should be completely abandoned for a Harden-esque pick and roll attack.
Knicks still have the longest winning streak with 8, followed by the Wizards' 7 wins after tonight's game. Clippers have the longest streak in the West with 4.
I see that the Twolves [16-44] and Rockets [15-45] have both been mathematically eliminated from the postseason after tonight.
Aside from some of the sloppy turnovers, this was a great game to watch. Great intensity from the Dubs and they were really tough on the defensive glass. Looks like Oubre and Wiggins finally broke the Jayhawk Law that said that they both couldn't play well on the same night. And so good to see JTA back on the floor wreaking havoc on every possession.
Kerr's been talking about the team going on a roll, and a glance at the schedule suggests that now is the time. Next few games:
4/25 vs. Sacramento (and D'Aaron Fox won't be available)
4/27 vs. Dallas
4.29 @ Minnesota
5/1 @ Houston
5/3 @ New Orleans
5/4 @ New Orleans
5/6 vs. OKC
5/8 vs. OKC
7-1 or 8-0 isn't out of the question. Of course, we've beaten Denver twice and lost to Washington twice, so seems like each game is a battle.
The second to last 3 pointer that Steph hit - Wiggs played that possession perfectly. What a difference of geling over 60 games can do. I sneak believe KO will get there too with more reps - he has made great progress already fitting in Kerr-Steph system.
Klay and I both finally came down from celebrating 4/20 and just noticed the headline; “Smoke the Nuggets”, all of them.
Go Prime!
Nice to see everyone clicking!
Even with the tough losses, the Warriors have played well all month, and have been a super fun watch.
Oubre is good at small ball. He should sign with a team that plays a non-traditional center if he wants to max out his career.
If Looney could just stay healthy he’d be the most underpaid player in the league.
Did yard work yesterday and got some rocks in my shoes. Led to limping til I could remove them. Hopefully that’s what Steph was dealing with.
2.0 for sure!

Should oubre start over dray next season so we can start reducing his minutes and keep him fresh for the playoffs?
Steph klay wiggins oubre looney and let dray and wiseman come in at the six minute mark sounds kind of nice.
Any news on Stephs foot? He appeared to change shoes and it seemed to not be bothering him, but I was worried he tore his plantar fascia or something.

I really, really want a piece of the Jazz in the first round.

Or that was the spirit of what he said anyway.

JTA on postgame is all love. Dude is inspiring like hell.
Perfectly balanced...?

Wiggins scored 19 pts w 2 assists and Draymond Green scored 2 pts w 19 assists tonight
