Three pals in a three-year continuing text discussion re: Dubs:
Pal 1:
-Nuts! Four teams all knotted up at 38 L's this late in season is unprecedented! (not confirmed by this author.)
Me, after OKC game started:
-Moody! Donte!
-We are going to break through in this game, I feel it, even if Steph has to go for 60!
-I'm losing my mind watching this game! Hope you all are doing good.
Pal 1:
OKC's a tough out nowadays.
Me:
-Oh they are dynamic! Well-coached. Shai is one of the best players in the NBA, and they have a young, deep roster. Giddey is having an off game but is so good, the Williams lads, Dort, iJoe. Holmgren next season. All killers. Draft picks galore. Would not want to face them Rd1 in the postseason.
OH, WHAT A RELIEF IT IS..... GOING TO BE A CARDIO STRESS-TEST THE LAST 2 GAMES...lollakers breathing on our back....Still, I don't want 5th....GO WARRIORS....
It looks like the Warriors only need to play Warriors ball for half a game max and they win. Imagine what they will look like if they keep this up for 48 minutes.
Kudos to Moody for stepping up tonight, but for me the key player was Dray down the stretch as he kept making great plays (including scoring) that sucked the life out of the Thunder.
As long as Dray doesn't get a tech against the Kings, he'll be able to play the last two regular season games and start from zero in the playoffs.
Plus there’s the chance they decide to boost season tickets for ‘23-‘24, with a last Thermopylae victory, and if they show up with Dame, Infernal Simmons, Jeff Green and Nurk….
So it looks like if the Clippers beat the Lakers, or if the Lakers beat the Clippers and the Suns win out, or if Dallas can edge into the play-in and then win the play-in tournament, or if Denver slides to the second seed, either way, the Warriors are the defending champs and *don't care about any of that* as they proceed to flip the switch into Playoff Mode. Do I have that right?
IIRC, he didn't start Loon against the Thunder in January either. I wonder if it has something to do with the Thunder being one of the fastest-paced teams in the league. He might have thought Lamb could run with the Thunder better.
Anybody but the Warriors… go through whoever needed in the playoffs. But a Lakers/Warriors WCF would be a sight to behold… so send the Lakers to the 5 seed, I guess
Pulling doubly for the Grizz to beat the Pelicans tomorrow night. Not only would that give the Pels 40 losses, but Grizz would lock up the #2 seed (they hold the tiebreaker over the Kings), meaning the Kings would have nothing to play for on Friday night and might rest some of their key guys.
A Kings loss tomorrow also sews up the Grizz as #2 if the Grizz were to lose to Pels.
*Never mind - I was wrong on the tiebreaker. See thread below.
They can’t clinch tho… Kings hold the tie breaker, so unless the Kings lose to the Mavs also, it ain’t over. And the Grizz have two tough games left… though if Milwaukee sits people, Memphis game on 4/7 is earlier and could be effectively over by the time our game tips off.
Kings will have the Dallas Mavericks #webelieve dilemma… ha!
My bad - I thought Grizz won the season series 2-1, but it's tied 2-2 and Kings win the tiebreaker due to conference record. Thanks for pointing this out.
Well now we know we need two wins to lock in 6. Fridays game will be doubly huge since if we win, our first playoff game will be right back there. If this team can win these next 2 , end the season on a 3 game win streak, get wiggs back and get a week off ... watch out!

-GP2!!!
-Refuse to lose!
-Yes!!!
-We Believe!
-#warriors invitational
-Lakers/Clippers game this week is huge
where is Pal 2?
Right?
Moses played the 5th most minutes of any Warrior last night.
Well the wife chose a great game for her Chase Center maiden voyage!
Great choice!!
OH, WHAT A RELIEF IT IS..... GOING TO BE A CARDIO STRESS-TEST THE LAST 2 GAMES...lollakers breathing on our back....Still, I don't want 5th....GO WARRIORS....
Warriors play with that BIG 3 Energy.
It looks like the Warriors only need to play Warriors ball for half a game max and they win. Imagine what they will look like if they keep this up for 48 minutes.
Sometimes feels like rope-a-dope! Thinking that jumping passing lanes and high intensity defense just isn't sustainable for 48.

Dray with 17 points last night. That’s like a 30 point game for him lol.
I don't think we are gonna need Dray in Blazers game.
Plus there’s the chance they decide to boost season tickets for ‘23-‘24, with a last Thermopylae victory, and if they show up with Dame, Infernal Simmons, Jeff Green and Nurk….
Famous last words. That team just beat the TWolves and was tied with a full strength Grizzlies team with 6m left in the game
True

Good enough for government work, as they say
I'm still worried about the play in, a week off would do a lot for these guys and for getting wiggs back in the fold. We can avoid it though
In my humble opinion, I don't believe that any team would be looking forward to facing the Dubs in a 7 game series :) What do you think?
Can someone explain the starting lineup to me? I was confused AF. Why start Lamb instead of Loon?
IIRC, he didn't start Loon against the Thunder in January either. I wonder if it has something to do with the Thunder being one of the fastest-paced teams in the league. He might have thought Lamb could run with the Thunder better.
I hope it is to increase Lamb’s trade value.
Kerr knew the W's need to be down at half to avoid complacency so he jiggered the lineups to arrange it ...
Kerr explains https://twitter.com/NBCSWarriors/status/1643479853969158144
i am trying to get into Kerr's head tonight - via his dreams - will explain tomorrow
I think Kerr has a soft spot and a hard on for Lamb.
Also Lamb can shoot 3s decently.
At least he did before the ASG.
Yeah… he used to have a 3pt shot… not anymore
Tomorrow's games are gonna be VERY interesting:
-Pelicans vs. Grizzlies, 5:00pm PST. Both are on a 2nd night of a B2B.
-Mavericks vs. Kings, 5:30pm PST. Kings are on a 2nd night of a B2B while the Mavericks will play after a two-day rest.
-Clippers vs. Lakers, 7:00pm PST. Lakers are on a 2nd night of a B2B while the Clippers will play after a three-day rest.
Grizz win and Kings loss will lock the Kings into #3 seed - nothing to play for against us...
Hopefully Kyrie and Luka are playing, the Mavs may decide to try to hold onto their top 10 protected pick say this point
It's the sensible thing but Luka won't allow it. As the GM you just have to hope they continue losing.
Thursday will have:
-Jazz vs. Thunder, 6:00pm PST.
-Suns vs. Nuggets, 7:00pm PST.
Do we prefer clippers or lakers at 7th seed?
Anybody but the Warriors… go through whoever needed in the playoffs. But a Lakers/Warriors WCF would be a sight to behold… so send the Lakers to the 5 seed, I guess
I'm presuming you mean where they end up post play in not before? I'd take lakers at 7 but tbh both teams scare me a bit

Ice cream of joy was damn good!!
I am quite happy right now 🥰🙂🤪
I liked the part where they won the game.
