Bill Simmons, taped before last night's game, talking about the Charlotte loss: "...comes down to a jump ball down two where the ref just throws it right to Terry Rozier, it was the worst jump ball throw I've seen in like five years". Nice to know an unbiased observer thought it was as bad as we all did.
What a win. Early scheduled game and so didn't get to watch the game till start of 4th with Dubs down 13th. And I thought this is a trap game loss then Steph and defense happened.
Steph has been Steph but it is amazing that we have won 5+ games because someone different got a chance and decided turn it up.
For today's game, hopefully Steph sits half of the game (if not all of the game) and Wiggins+Poole decide to show up. Sit Steph in Toronto home game and he ends up getting a nice 5 day rest to heal up whatever little or big ails him. However I doubt Steph sits either game.
I’m sure this has been mentioned already, but replacing JP with DLee turned the game for us. JP had a bad night with help defense and it was killing us - over helping, stuffing up switches, ball watching… it was hard to get going. Sub in DLee and the defense is back. Warriors win. Proud of the boys.
At this point if I'm on death row and they ask me what I want for the final meal, I'll just say I don't care what you feed me just let me watch hot Curry for a bit.
At full strength this Cav team isn’t bad. Their kids keep developing, they’re a playoff team. Probably. A bit earl to tell though. Earl, review more tape, pls.
In other news, Mr. 3rd Quarter spent the afternoon drinking in some dive bar off Euclid St. and slept it off leaning against the back wall while the Cavs rebounded every ball that came near him. Luckily his buddy 4th unloaded a couple of Curry-Lee clan killers out of the back of the minivan and the lot of them took care of business.
Random: I just noticed Steph is listed at 6'2 185 now. Wasn't he 6'3 190 before?
