Looking at the 3 man net ratings: the Klay,Poole,Curry lineup Is still as good as the spacing indicates and it’s still the top non Iguodala 3 man group as the minutes played go up. Start Klay at the 3 the rest of the way please! You proven to Klay how hard the NBA comeback is, now it’s time to make it easier on him.
But the eye popping part is how good the 3 man groups with Bjelica, Curry or GP2, and Green or Dre are. Bjelica is actually good when playing with experienced basketball players who are connected on D and know how to pass and move on O, and not good otherwise. It’s pretty clear he’s being dramatically misused trying to make him the passer in with the rookies. He should be the supplement to the vets instead.
I almost feel like someone needs to check this, but per ESPN: in the **15 minutes** that Steph and Dray shared the court, Steph scored 41 of his 47 points, and the Warriors had an offensive rating of 169.7.
I really appreciate how the Warriors are allowing for Kuminga to grow beyond a pure finisher this season and giving him some playmaking/decision making duties so that he can improve there and be more of a threat in the post season.
That’s how I like them Dub games. Calmly and quietly erode a good opponent, and in the third/fourth drop the claw. Love JP3 and his renewed D effort which affects negatively his FT% and theatrics but gives us the most scary offensive trio in the NBA (am I exaggerating?)
Sleepy Freud, you have a right to haunt me mercilessly at will for as long as you like :)
Lakers now 10 games under .500 with a tough remaining schedule. 10 road games (currently 9-22 on the road) vs. 4 home games (20-17 at home). No sure thing that they'll even make the play-in tournament as they are only 2.5 games up on Portland (#11) and 3.5 games up on San Antonio (#12)
Round number alert. Steph reaches the exclusive .600 TS% club. He's now at .602 for the season. Poole is at .5996, so depends how you count rounding. If you want Steph to hit .400 on 3P%, he'll basically need to shoot .500 on his normal per game volume for the rest of the season.
Wise playing in G League tomorrow. Between that and Dray coming off the bench, I think they learned some lessons from starting Klay from day 1: take it slowly when they’re coming back from long injury.
Post game party: Curry goes for 47 on his birthday as Warriors blow out Wizards

Tonight’s schedule: easy wins for the Suns, Grizz, Heat, and Nets lined up. AKA a nice break from interesting games.
Great Marcus Thompson piece on Looney, check it out. https://theathletic.com/3179861/2022/03/14/thompson-kevon-looneys-impact-and-importance-have-never-been-felt-more/

I have a poll to propose. It will be a hard choice, but, who you choose as a post-Kerr coach, Steph or Dray?

Jordan lost his “best FT shooter in the NBA” title and knew it after that second one.
This spin move!! https://youtu.be/3wSczVmG1bI?t=567
2012: 4th year Curry, 2nd year Klay, 1st year Draymond
2022: 3rd year Poole, 1st year Kuminga, 1st year Moody
3v3, who you got?!
Without doing any math I’m pretty sure Steph’s averages at 34 are better than at any other age of his NBA career.
