So… maybe we should just forget the game happened?
Here are my extremely brief unhelpful game notes:
I missed the whole first half, and this is a perplexing score to come back to [it was actually close for a half]
I see, GSW going Dragan-Chriss. So Dray got himself chucked to help the spacing. Team player
I step away for a few minutes and the game goes from close to 25 points down. THE TANK WILL NOT QUIT, THE TANK WILL NOT DIE
Welp, on the good side, the comments are way easier to follow now. The happy comments stay in place towards the bottom and it gets gloomier real fast as you go up
Run every play for Mulder and Bender you cowards!!
I think I just saw four consecutive plays end on turnovers
In case you were curious, GSW’s 25 turnovers were the most since 2018-02-02, and has not been surpassed by GSW since 2006-11-24. GSW has had 10 games of 26 or more turnovers, and went an unbelievable 7-3. Stats from basketball-reference.com.
(Update: official count was 26 turnovers for GSW last nights. Ugh. All stats above still valid.)
Also update on Ky Bowman (he’ll be out for a while, MRI tomorrow):
It would be hilarious if the Giannis-Harden feud escalated into Giannis joining the Warriors just to take it to the Rockets. (Not gonna happen, but would be absolutely incredible, with the added bonus of blocking Westbrook's path to future titles)
I think that new comments should be at the bottom to represent the new depths of basketball hell we descend into every game. After the season ends, new comments should be at the top, because things are going to start looking up more and more with every off-season transaction.
I find it hard to believe this team easily falls apart like a cheap lawn chair. Even the 9-win Bobcats and Sixers gave teams a run for their money, instead of being down for the count even before tip-off.
The second half might be the single worst stretch of "basketball" I have ever seen, from the team as a whole.
Normally, I dread when it's a national TV game, but this time I'm extremely relieved that I did not have to listen to Fitz's increasing levels of disbelief form into an aneurysm.
You could tell by a few minutes into the 4th Q that no one actually wanted the game to go on. (Except Quinn Cook. Bless that guy and how much he loves to play BBall even in garbage time.) Between Bender being in foul trouble, Draymond being ejected, Poole spraining an ankle, and then whatever happened to Bowman, I was starting to think the team might literally forfeit. If only they could have done that before everything that went wrong this game.
Post-game memory wipe thread: Lakers 116, Warriors 86

So I should be glad this game was not televised in my area then.
What about Poole? I watched the first half, then watched Poole limp off and I turned it off.
Seriously hope Bowman isn't hurt too bad.
Paschall had a fantastic first half.

Happy I missed this one. Looked at the box score and sheeeeeeesh!
I was going to explode if I saw another picked off pass.
Oh I forgot. Substack finally gave us chronological order comments. I think this is an improvement already.
Do you prefer the latest posts at the top, latest at the bottom, or it doesn’t matter to you?

One positive from the game: draymond still owned AD defensively... if briefly...
