Gutsy of you on Mark Jackson. Nonetheless, he was the ''caterpillar'' that motivated and developed this dynastic core and converted the team to a defensive culture. I guess it is easier to develop young guys when you do not have to defend a championship and playing time/experimentation opportunities are plentiful. Imagine going in the playoffs with ''Playoff Barnes, in his rookie year, rookie Ezeli, rookie Dray, a soph Klay, a 60 percent recovering Bogut, a hobbled Curry, and losing your dependable David LEE, smallball center/PF, after the 1st game, 1st round....Of course, you've got two super-vets named Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry, coming off-the-bench, that would lead the team to the second round, nearly knocking out the eventual Finalists Spurs....

Klay came back from all those injuries and won another title.

I’m still there.

Anyway. Wake me up in a few months when I can start getting ready to care again during the home stretch before the playoffs.

Wiseman looked good and I think he can really help our second unit offense playing next to dray, if jmg doesn’t step up we can cut him out the rotation

So many tough ones today… messed up lobs, transition turnovers turned into made shots the other way… Klay taking a bunch of terrible shots… two straight fouled three point shooters…

And yet down arguably our best three players on the road against the foul twins, and they kept it interesting.

Lakers are winning the game against Denver tonight and will only be two games behind the Warriors 😩. They will likely pull ahead of us by the end of our road trip 😥

I'm thinking my prediction that the Warriors would go 4-0 for the remainder of the road trip was a bit optimistic. I'm now thinking that 3-1 is more likely.

Klay Thompson, you gotta do bettah! I'm sure Klay knows that but the reality is that he is generally not the player he was, at present. His rhythm, decisions, and inability/reluctance to go to the basket, make me think he is not feeling great. Is it mental or physical? Both? His habits are very ingrained and if he can't play with Curry & Cie, whom he is used to, it might be even more difficult for him to help this team.

DDV was on fire the first half. Did someone douse him with water in the 2n half? I was floored by the efficient scoring in the 1st period, but I knew it wouldn't last the whole game. It was a level that even the best teams usually can't perform at. It did keep the Dubs hanging around for most of the game, though. Loon's almost triple double was a great part of this start for the scrubs. Maybe he is the future point forward! Plays better than that Dior'ed guy on the bench.

If Kuminga learns how to focus himself, he will rise quickly. Sometimes I think he has poor hands.

Wiseman? lol. The best thing that could happen is if the Warriors can package him in a nice trade for assets. You can't hold back a team for the sake of one player who is substandard. They need someone different in this position.

Jerome and Lamb often amaze me. Both are nuanced players who seem to understand much more than we realize about the game. We need to weed out those who are not really equipped to help us in the near future and begin to build with some size and athleticism. More 3 point shooters are sexy but not the answer for this team. Strength, IQ, and execution, are paramount. Finishing at the basket is important. Defensive understanding has to be a primary goal.

Thanks for an exciting game!

The Pelicans are going to be so pissed when they lock up the #1 seed only to find out they're playing us in the first round. #UnstoppableBaby #WeBelieve

James Wiseman will remain with the Warriors the rest of the road trip. They'll re-evaluate after the trip. Steve Kerr was really happy with Wiseman on both sides

Steve Kerr said "I think there's a chance" Andrew Wiggins returns on Sunday against the Raptors. Wiggins was hopeful in a conversation with Kerr today. He's missed the last six games with an adductor strain.

A lot of teams on the road won tonight. Hawks beat the Hornets, Kings beat the Pistons, Magic beat the Celtics, Nets beat the Raptors, Knicks routed the Bulls, and T-Wolves beat the Thunder. Only the 76ers, the Cavs, and the Mavs won at home tonight so far.

Didn’t watch, disappointed but unsurprised Poole and Klay sucked.

How did Wiseman and Kuminga look? How about Moody? JMG had 8rebs… that’s something.

The good:

-Looney nearly had a triple-double.

-DDV was excellent in the 1st quarter and helped the Warriors beat the 76ers in the 1st quarter. I think Sixers defense bothered him in the 2nd half; he was only 1/5 twos tonight.

-Poole looked good in the 2nd half after a miserable 1st half.

-Maybe Jerome, I guess. He looked good for a 3rd string guard.

The mixed:

-Kuminga. Good defense, but he had no rebounds tonight.

-Wiseman, but to be fair, he was going up against a center who is bigger and stronger than him and is notorious for getting lots of calls.

The bad:

-Klay. 4/17 FGs (3/8 threes, 1/9 twos). What is up with Klay looking good for only 1 game and looking bad in the next 4-7 games???

-JMG. Enough said.

And yet another game this season that klays play made the difference between a win and a loss. I would rather loose getting wise and moody more minutes then loose with OGs like klay and JMG stinking it up
