MM and Quiñones to SC. All the other good Sea Dubs players are gone either to the Brazilian national team or to our national team. PBJ and the two ways did not come for the game. Sad to see MM playing with all the GL players who basically dribble, dribble dribble, and then try to shot shoot through a forest of tall forwards/centers. Meanwhile he’s standing wide open in the corners.
Glad he’s getting reps, but what is he doing so wrong that they keep parking him in the G League?
Kuminga’s on-ball potential is huge but still raw. Don’t want to see iso offenses centered around him just yet…
But what’s really encouraging is to how Kuminga has really learned to play off-ball (and to see him smile and having fun)! He has a really good nose for the ball, and creates a ton of opportunities and mismatches by cutting, rebounding, blocking. One game sample… but one might even say his cutting instincts are elite. Plus, he’s so fast his defenders so far oftentimes fall asleep on him b/c he starts so far away from the ball.
Edit: haha the E1P is about Kuminga’s cuts! Watch that instead :)
this is said a lot about young players with promise but man... JK is doing this at 20 on a contending team with a short leash? i have no idea what he’s going to be like when he’s 25 but i’m going to guess this kid will be pretty damn good.
Dallas has one of the easier remaining strength of schedule. Percentage wise, it rounds up to a 1 game gain over the remaining games, and I count only 5 really competitive games left for them to play. We have to be ON in our last 18 games.
I'm hoping we eventually find out what caused this newfound sense of urgency/effort by the Dubs.
Still hasn't seemed to affect their 1st quarter efforts, but after the 1st, they've been really going hard.
I doubt it's just as simple as everyone deciding on the same day that they need to work harder. Maybe a Draymond tongue-lashing, or Kerr breaking a clipboard, or ...
These last two games are Kuminga's best IMO. The thing that I very rarely see now from Kuminga is the pouty give up attitude after something doesn't go his way. Once last night (against the Clips) for about 3 seconds. None tonight that i saw. Last year, often. This concerned me more than his talent level. Feeling much better about this behavior from him lately. Maybe it's just part of growing up (hard to say, it's been so long for me).

Should have won by double digits to expand on that record.
Down by double to win by double back to back to back.

How sweet it is. Just like last year, the time is fast-approaching the f---ers will HAVE TO WRITE about the Dubs....
OWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!
Just got a tattoo of Kuminga's put-back. Damn that hurt
Warriors have not allowed more than 105 points in each of the games in their homestand.
vs. Rockets- 101 points
vs. Wolves- 104
vs. Blazers- 105
vs. Clippers- 91
vs. Pelicans- 99

Klay is only 14 behind Hield for total 3s made… he very well might catch him over the last 18 games. That would be amazing.

My favorite, among gems, was the Poole miss, JK put back dunk. That aggressiveness and timing is something new.
Watching Kuminga’s highlight reel gave me goose bumps. Wow!

They didn’t suck in the clutch!
Kuminga leading the team in +/- over 32 minutes played is something to behold.
Warriors now up to #13 in team defense, and just 0.4 points per 100 from #10.
Not great, but not bad given they were down around #20 just a couple weeks ago.
