PEPPER IS TOO CUTE!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Btw, was watching the game live with friends and in the middle of that Al Horford flurry in the 4th, one of them said “it’s the Al Horford memorial game!” Apparently Al wasn’t just rolling, he was rolling in his grave 😂. He didn’t mean it like that, and we all just busted up laughing at it, but I will always remember the Al Horford memorial game now. Rest in threes, Al. Next game, too

Just because it was such a TEAM effort, especially on Defense, I voted for Other in the Warrior Wonder poll, Clutch play from so many, multiple times, just didn't seem fair to single one over another.

I'm not sure where to post this message and I apologize If it ended up in the wrong place. Even though I am a member, I was unable to watch your video because it was private. Can someone tell me how I can watch it?

g8tgod's avatar

I think it's not up yet. Eric apparently uploaded the wrong version and is scrambling to get the right one uploaded.

ms2sfca's avatar

Thank you. You were correct.

I thought the headline was fake!!! I thought we lost?

Some background, I haven't watched the last few games or read any articles, my tv tapes every game, start watching last night on mute ~9pm, picked the latest Clipper game. I turned it off when it looked unwinnable 107-115 with 20 seconds left. How did we win this game???

First thing I googled was why Draymond Green didn't play? And why did Leons/Spencer/Bassey/Williams play so much? I had been yelling at the TV last night, "these lineups don't make any sense!"

The box score says Draymond did play... omg I watched the April 12th game. I found it on Amazon Prime this morning, about to start the game all over.

g8tgod's avatar

You're in for a treat--and some frustration along the way. This is the Warriors we're talking about...

cannothoop's avatar

HA! that is awesome. sounds like something I could do.

WGBC's avatar

Didn't help that I was drinking and smoking heavily, as required for an elimination game. I blame Amazon for not getting recorded. And fast-forward barely functions.

Goofus's avatar

This was the first game I didn’t smoke for in quite a while.

A) I’ve got the flu

B) I didn’t want to fall asleep at halftime, as I’m want to do.

Shams Charania

Just in: The NBA and NBPA have ruled in favor of Lakers' Luka Doncic and Pistons' Cade Cunningham on their Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge for the 65-game award rule, making both eligible for all 2025-26 season honors such as MVP and All-NBA teams, sources tell ESPN.

Goofus's avatar

That kinda pisses me off. What made those guys “extraordinary”?

Sabiscrashingout.'s avatar

Only the fact they were one game off of 65. Also paternity leave should have been excluded right out of the gate. Players shouldn't be punished for that.

The game Cade was injured was never included in the 65 because he didn't play 15 minutes.

Some people are suggesting the 65 game rule should be based off minutes played and not games played.

Sleepy Freud's avatar

In fairness, Luka is an extraordinary whiner. (Not sure about Cade).

In Steph's post-game interview with the Amazon crew, he mentioned Draymond was sick for this game. Coughing every time they were in a huddle. Great resiliency from Draymond.

The Bratch's avatar

Part of me wouldn't have minded losing this game, just in case we could repeat the Mavs' insane "bounced in the play-in but we get the first pick" luck from last year.

But the greater part of me loves that this team will. not. quit. and plays with this level of passion (and Steph-fueled joy). It's so special.

Goofus's avatar

A loss is also a consolation prize on Friday, as well.

Kerr: ""We came back every single time they made a run," Kerr said. "An incredible display of guts and competitiveness and connection. Then obviously Steph and Dray took over down the stretch. Draymond is the best defender I've ever seen in my life."

"Draymond, Hall of Fame defender," Leonard said. "It was hard to even get shots up."

> Green defended Leonard for 12 half-court possessions in the fourth quarter and Leonard didn't take a shot, the most matchups defended against Leonard in a fourth quarter without allowing a shot by any player since Leonard joined the Clippers in 2019.

Mullying's avatar

Dray often got some help as they sent another player to swarm Kawhi at strategic points during these possessions. Crowded him so much that he uncharacteristically turned the ball over or was unable to consistently make them pay by finding someone else. Tremendous effort by Green, but our coaching staff deserves some credit here as well.

Watching the game now - we are vacationing in beautiful Istanbul, so not much time for the Warriors. So happy they won! Steph & Dray ❤️ forever.

Goofus's avatar

Very cool! We spent a few days there a few years ago and wow, it’s beautiful indeed. I’d love to revisit.

FromMunichWithLove's avatar

Do it - it’s totally worth it!

Goofus's avatar

Since it’s going out on a limb, I wanted to sleep on this before saying it here; that was the Dubs’ biggest win of the year…so far.

TwoRingTest's avatar

you and your monkey references ...

Goofus's avatar

I’d be more eager to go out on a limb if I had a prehensile tail. 🐒

Kelly Wheaton's avatar

I liked Porzingas smile. I don't know if it was that big other places he's played...but man he was happy. And Jimmy, oh my that grin from the bench. It was like oh my you ain't seen nothing yet. That's batman and I am here...just you wait. And Steph and, Dray and, Podz and Garry. They were all SMILING. Even when they were down multiple times by 10 points and more.

Win or lose keep SMILING! What an incredible season for the die hard fans who have made it through some terrible losses but they have never given up. What a team! Thank you Warriors. I love you Eric, love Dubs fans.

DubsNerd's avatar

Something something Joy something something. Isn't that Steve's motto?

Kelly Wheaton's avatar

I don't think you can be anymore joyful than that. It's in the Warriors DNA and I hope that after The vets retire that JOY of the game and fight to the end continues. I see the youngins picking it up. Gui is a natural for it...but even Podz was smiling...❤️🥰

g8tgod's avatar

To your collection of facial expressions, add one more: Clippers' owner Steve Ballmer. All that money, but he can't buy his way into the playoffs...

Mullying's avatar

Or cheat his way. The punishment for the Kawhi contract shenanigans should be coming soon.

Goofus's avatar

I don’t get it 🤷🏼‍♂️ Is there context?

Sabiscrashingout.'s avatar

It's part of a dark art series about the Clippers mascot and his buddy Roach. RIP to both of them.

Late arriving, but surely the party’s still going… right?

Steph was sublime. The fact that there are people in this world who claim to have seen a better basketball player than him… it’s pure lunacy.

It’s been said many times, in many different ways all throughout this thread, but that was a vintage, all-time Draymond performance. Belilaugh pointed out pre-game that it could possibly be his last with the W’s. Turns out it won’t be (assuming that leg is okay—*furiously knocks wood*✊🪵), but he played as if he was thinking the same thing.

Santos was really good! Podz, too, albeit to a slightly lesser extent. Too many turnovers, but overall they both looked ready for the challenge, even (especially?) down the stretch. The fact that we have Gui for three more years at $5M is amazing.

Horford sort of overshadowed him by closing so well (and I see that he was a minus-4 in the box score), but I still thought Porzingis was really valuable in this game—particularly in the long middle. When he’s going well, he reminds me a little of Elena Delle Donne.

Gary has been playing with an edge lately. I am here for it, obviously ☺️

The draft stuff is whatever, but it is a little bittersweet seeing the guys play like this, and knowing that if they were healthy they would actually have a chance at this thing.

Clippers played well, which only makes the win sweeter. Trading Harden for Garland might have made them a little worse for this season, but I like it for them because even if they rebuild, he can give them a longterm baseline of offensive competence. (Defense is another matter…)

I generally rooted against Candace Parker as a player, but I think she’s fantaastic on these broadcasts. I wish they’d put her on all the national games.

(For the record, re: the responses below, I definitely did not intend that last comment as an occasion to shit on Doris Burke, nor do I see why it’s necessary to pit these two women against each other, specifically.)

cpt nemo's avatar

agree on Candace - she was pretty good and way way better than Doris Burke as @Goofus also said!

Goofus's avatar

>>> I generally rooted against Candace Parker as a player, but I think she’s fantaastic on these broadcasts.

She referred to Gui as “Guy” and Podz as “Porzinski” but she’s better than Doris for sure.

GSWarriors4lyf's avatar

Everyone is better than Doris Burke even her daughter Kerith!

Let's not spread misinformation. Kerith is not related to Doris. There was an AMA with Kerith where she said Doris is not her mom.

cpt nemo's avatar

wait - i did not know that!! Thank you - yes, Kerith is real good with her analysis

Steph was unreal. Forever grateful for him on the Warriors
