Given that there are no fans, I'm not sure I see the point of all the travel. I get that they want to create matchups for TV since that is the only source of money, but it seems like you could do that with east coast, mid west, and west road trips instead of criss crossing the nation. Is there any information on which venues will allow fans? I'm guessing Florida will, maybe Texas.

Thanks for the news, 3D. For the worst team in the league last season, we have the 2nd most brutal travel schedule this season. Did we really need an extra test of our mettle?

It's a strange looking schedule, for sure. All but one of the back to backs include travel; we have three games against SAS, but only two against the LA teams. Both of our games against the Clippers are at home; both our games against the Lakers are away.

The last regular season game is in early March against Portland.

I, for one, am excited for the baseball-like scheduling with consecutive games against the same opponent. It adds a little bit of playoff-series-like drama where you see how teams respond and adjust for the second game. The potential to run back a game after the other team has an uncharacteristically good or bad shooting night sets the stage for some great moments, too.

Looking at that schedule graphic it now bothers me that there are two basketballs though.
