Apricot (or anyone) - Mike Brown on podcast w/ TK mentioned Dray making two unbelievable defensive plays in a game few games back - probably Raptors game. Any idea which game and at which time markers they were?
OT: thought this was a great article about how Draymond is attacking the basket more aggressively, and how important that's been for the Warriors offense
Man… all these people saying Steph got clamped by the Suns really must have never seen him play. Everybody clamps him… he just frequently makes the shots anyways… I’m ready for tomorrows new hot take.
There needs to be a penalty if you field a team that can lose by 70 in a 48 minute NBA game. Like, you should have to give up a pick or pay a substantial fine or something. My god.
I missed this tweet comparing Wiseman’s body to last year. With his arms out-stretched, they looks like telephone polls when you remember his wingspan is 7’6”
I started posting quotes but it got long. Here are some notes instead:
* Mike Brown and Pabail Sidhu (analytics guy) are tracking individual defensive performance. They're making those metrics available to all players and handing out "Defensive Play of the Game" and "Defensive Player of the Month" awards
* Otto won first month
* Green, Andre, Wiggs intentionally not given awards because they're on a different level. Green should be getting DPOY instead... he's "the biggest daddy of them all".
* Take what you want from this quote regarding Klay coming back, but we play MEM at home on the 23rd. "... it’s like when you’re in fifth grade and it’s the 23rd of December and you’re anticipating Christmas"
* When asked about plans for Wiseman, he compared him to Ayton... but bigger and more athletic than Ayton.
I am not saying I would cut Bjelica because I think he's just going through a bit of a slump right now and will pick it up. But I think if OPJ gets to a point where he can give you 30 minutes as a stretch big (which is how many he played on Tuesday, not sure how sustainable that is), Bjelica is probably the most likely candidate to be cut should the right player on the buyout market become available.
Not saying I'd do it necessarily, just that I think he's the most likely candidate if they go that route.

Espn pushing a trade.......Sabonis for Wiseman, Kuminga, & Moody. The money works. I would do this in a heartbeat, would Indiana? Would you?
Suns beat the Pistons 114-103, but they played their starters an awful lot of minutes.
Ayton: 33 minutes
Paul: 33
Shamet: 31
Bridges: 40
Other players:
Johnson: 27
Crowder: 24
Payne: 21
McGee: 15
Payton: 10
Wainwright: 4
Pistons are only down 6 against the Suns now.

-Raptors barely beat the Bucks
-Bulls beat the Knicks
-Grizzlies crushed the Thunder
-Suns routing the Pistons. Suns bench is shooting lights out tonight. Johnson is 5/6 FGs, McGee is 3/4, and Payne is 7/11.

Also, Jordan Poole November stats:
20.3 ppg
63% TS%
37.5% 3P%
He seems to be settling in...
Klay has been to the NBA Finals in the last 5 years he's played. Just wanted to point that out somewhere.
OT: NBA is bumping the Battle of LA from national TV in favor of the Dubs-Suns rematch
Slater reports that Damion Lee will be back tomorrow (Iguodala is still out). Gives them a bit more flexibility if Wiggins' back still isn't right.
Ok, now that I’ve read and replied to all the comments, time to go back and read the article. >.<
