Raptors beat the Heat 98-90. Miami's off to a rough start to their season. They beat the Raptors a couple of nights ago, but they lost to them tonight and to the Bulls and the Celtics. They'll be facing the Blazers, the Warriors, and the Kings twice in their next 7 games.
76ers won their first game of the season with a win over the Pacers. It was an easy win for Philly. Meanwhile, the Bulls are beating the Celtics, the Grizzlies are beating the Nets, and the Spurs are pummeling the Wolves.
The Wolves have played OKC, Utah, OKC, and now SA (and then SA, then LAL, and then SA again for one of the softest opening schedules ever lol).
Through the first three games the Russell/Edwards/McDaniels/Towns/Gobert lineup has played 49 minutes and has a +1.9 net rating against that stiff competition. Tonight they are down 30 to San Antonio and every starter is at least -21 so that net rating might now be negative.
Hmmm...
EDIT: Warriors fans can worry about the bench combo +/- but at least the starters are dominating everyone so far.
He talks about how overall, the youth picked up the wrong signal from the vets, and were too lackadaisical and sloppy in the previous game. Then, he talks about MM, JK, and JW specifically, pointing out things each need to work on.
Walker Kessler, who received only 16% of the vote in DNHQ Group D for the draft tournament, is currently averaging 3.4 blocks per 36 minutes in his first three Jazz games (along with 14 points and 14 rebounds and 3 assists per 36). Leading all rookies in BPM and WS/48 (a stat I don't care about but I saw someone mention it)
I just watched the highlight of Jordan Clarkson blocking Zion Williamson's fastbreak dunk. It was a great block, but what happened afterwards looked scary as heck. I thought Zion landed awkwardly and hurt himself, but he managed to shake it off afterwards. Good thing nothing bad happened during the play.
I’m still and forever will be boggled by this site sometimes. 4 ships in 8 years and still the most frequent comments I read are all about Russel Westbrook. Like, my word.
Blazers beat the Nuggets 135-110 and remain undefeated.
Indiana sucks
Perhaps we get Myles Turner
Bummer, Harden won!
Nuggets were doing well in the 1st half, but the Blazers blitzed them in the 3rd quarter.
Bulls beat the Celtics 120-102.
Rockets beat the Jazz 114-108.
Looks like Rockets will beat the Jazz tonight.

Umm, how is Nets-Grizz not on national TV?

Did Utah trade Gobert for the new Gobert?
Donte will be re-evaluated in a week. Not going to Phoenix, TBD if he will go on the upcoming road trip after Miami at home.
Ty Jerome will be active tomorrow for Phoenix.
