Post Game mixed emotions thread: Kings take moral victory over Warriors
but Golden State still goes away with the win
The Golden State Warriors absolutely destroyed the Sacramento Kings in the first half of tonight’s game. Hanging 39 points on the hapless Sacramento defense in the 1st, and then a blistering 50 point quarter, the Warriors looked to be well in control as the teams headed into halftime.
But then a slip that felt all too familiar happened. It’s hard to keep playing with urgency sometimes, and this was one of those times.
Warriors popped the Kings for 89 first half points, let foot off the gas. Youth let the lead get trimmed to 12, cold veterans watched it dwindle to four. But they survive 130-125. Warriors are 2-1. Kings are 0-3. Warriors in Phoenix on Tuesday night.
In the end, it’s a moral victory for the Kings, and the Warriors are leaving the arena with another tally in their win column - and some stuff to work on.
Blazers beat the Nuggets 135-110 and remain undefeated.
Indiana sucks
Perhaps we get Myles Turner
Bummer, Harden won!
