Playing with line ups... TLDR: rest Curry/Klay/Green half the game, pair Wiseman+Green, pair Kuminga+Looney, always have three 3pt shooters, always have 2 of the top 6 guys in, play Moody and Kuminga more.
I'd like to see wiseman play next to green with the starters and kuminga spell wiggins as the point of attack defender, Donte got cooked by bones last night, kumingas size and quickness probably would have done better.
When klays minute restriction is up hell be in the 2nd unit with poole,I'm guessing kerr will give donte the minutes over moody to start the year but hopefully moody n kuminga end up with more minutes then jmg n donte by the end of the year
Oh, I think Wiseman will crack the rotation at some point if he continues to play well. Green is a great partner for him as he will get to play above the rim more often. But, I don't see Kuminga taking minutes from Wiggins. Wiggins is on the rise, even better than last year. DDV is a bundle of energy, but..............the jury is still out on him. JMG is very good at what he does. We are so used to seeing certain lineups, but to me, JMG could start on our team. He is a very smart player with skills. It is Donte that concerns me.
Moody is looking better to me in his limited minutes. He is looking looser, bigger, and smarter. He and Poole should be an excellent tandem especially with Poole's passing and Moody able to get open for his 3 ball. The Dubs still need to figure out the bench. We are a long way from that.
Kuminga wont take wiggins minutes but if wiggins isnt on the court kuminga should be guarding ball so we can utilize his talents. I love moody but it seems nobody here mentions when he makes mistakes like he did last night but jump on kuminga for the slightest issues
I called out Moody sinking way too far from the corner late in the game and giving up a wide open KCP three that basically sealed the game in the game thread.
OT My cat Dill came home from the vet's today. He spent a couple of weeks there so they could change the wrappings on his legs every 3 or 4 days. He is doing well & healing more quickly than the vet expected. He was on my lap, purring softly most of the afternoon.
Huzzah! So glad Dill is recovering...and cats do heal amazing well. My tom got his flank punctured a week ago in a fight and I was ready to head into the vet to forestall any infection developing but between his and his sister's very active washing on the area the wounds stayed clean and are now almost entirely healed up (so much faster than a human!). Today is my Gotcha Day! (One year since my tabby team adopted me and took charge of my home and life. Can't imagine life without them!)
LOL my young'uns for some reason like to gnaw on my fingers sometimes. But Dill [like a lot of Torties] was a biter as a kitten and still is sometimes, But he's gotten much better than when he was younger.
They are definitely life-altering. Boots would sleep on my lap 90% of the time if he could. Molly comes and goes and is less needful, much more independent.

I was looking at the schedule:
We are front-loaded on road games this year ... by Jan. 20th (roughly first 3 months of the season) we have 24 road games. And 5 of the remaining 17 games are in one road trip in mid March (which isn't terrible on travel ... Clippers, then out to Atlanta and then three Central TZ games).
It's somewhat unfortunate, in that we are going to be on the road a lot when we are trying to figure out how best to integrate the youngsters into the rotation.
On the other hand, if we're about .500 by Jan. 20th, we'll be well-positioned for a late season run.
At this point, I'm hoping we're at .500 after this first long road trip (end of which would be the tenth game of the season).
One oddity I noticed is that three of our games with Sac come in the first four weeks. So, sorry Mike B.! We need those games.
Yep… growing pains for the youngsters, Wise in particular. I’m interested to watch how DDV plays… if he’s not going to hold up as a point of attack defender at all, we got a problem, imo.
I think DDV is a good aggressive on-ball defender. But there are two types. Those like GP2, who it doesn't matter who is playing behind him, he is going to steal your cookies. Then there is the DDV type, a guy who is trying to disrupt a ball handlers rhythm, but who has a DPOY (Giannis in MIL) playing behind him. As the team defense he is playing with improves, I believe his own will look better. I like his type of player, someone who will apply a little ball pressure. But if he is only ever backed up by JK, JMG (still learning the system) and Wise, he might not look that good for a while.
I hear you… to an extent. He took some really bad angles and gambles last night, and couldn’t stay in front of Bones at all. It’s one thing to funnel to help and be there to contain, it’s another to get blown by and just be out of the play (e.g. end of first quarter play).

Would it be safe to say that the Kings will give good teams a run for their money this season?
It would be safe to say the Kangz need to work on their free throws.
15/26 FTs. I see what you mean.
Barnes: 4/7
Sabonis: 3/6
Fox: 3/6
Huerter: 3/4
Paul George has 28 points so far. Fox has 23 points for the Kings.

Yeah. He also gambled on a steal, which isn't really his game. Oh, well, he just looks 28. He's still young.
I think Nuggets got this one.
Jokic has another triple double tonight. 14 points, 12 assists, 13 rebounds.
Gotta give it up to the Celtics. Even with the Udoka drama they’ve come out focused this year. On a mission. Theyre going to win a lot of games
They look unstoppable.
Didn't the Nuggets play last night? No wonder they aren't looking so good against the Thunder right now.
Is that the Clippers' excuse too? Or are the Kangs muchly improved with their new coach?
Clippers didn't play last night, though.
Right you are...I keep thinking the Clips/Lakers game was last night while we were playing Denver. So, lets see how the second half goes!

Thanks!! Glad your guy is doing well now!!
Only too well! They are just turned three years old and act like human three year olds...with claws, fur and teeth....:)

Frickin Nuggets tied with OKC at the half.
Inconsistency.
Bucs beating Rockets 67-49 at half.
Bucks from 3: 58.8%
Bucks from 2: 57.7%
Bucks from the line: 53.8%
Consistency!
Luka is on an 84-16-12 pace after one quarter.
Anyone else playing with him?😊
I know! I've been watching this one...what is wrong with Memphis defense? They look much worse than last year.
Dillon Brooks and JJJ are out

*97-1
Early season math is the best math.
Eesh, 76ers fall to 0-3. Hashtag free Embiid!
Joel for Draymond straight up: who says no? I mean besides the 76ers. Other than them, who says no???
At least Harden lost
Doc will be the first coach to be fired this season if they go 2-10.
Hire D'Antoni as the coach when that happens and the transfor-morey-ation will be complete.
Continuing the trend of tankers beating up on contenders. Perhaps Philly is trying to return to the process?
Even I knew he was on the Nets. Sitting out here in the cornfields. LOL
[But he does tend to get injured fairly often.]
Interesting breakdowns of Warriors’ defense, mainly Dray

Kuminga needs to be guarding the ball in the 2nd unit

I'm looking at the big picture: we need 50+ victories to get into one of the first 3 spots
Get them ASAP
At this rate unfortunately we’re only getting to 41
