Possibly both from the beginning. Dude never really loved to play basketball before the championship run, and whatever magic he found in that run he lost last year. He’s back to just not being able to get motivated to love being out there.
He's had plenty of bad slumps in his Warriors career, which is exactly how long? Two years of above average, one of which was a contract year, a bunch of missed time right after, and this post contract year so far... if this is any closer to his normal going forward, that could be just the old classic NBA contract year bump.
I wouldn't say losing by 40+ at home was predictable, but I do think that losing CP3 being brutal for the team was predictable. Without both Draymond and CP3 what would they have, like 35 wins over the course of an entire season?
I think right now they are pretty disconnected as a team which is making it look worse than it could be, that Denver game and the ensuing Kuminga stuff seems like it had an impact that they'll have to fight off. I don't think it's THAT much better than this though, to be clear lol.

Might be more efficient at this point to replace the site header with a flashy thing until the trade deadline
Seems I picked a good day to miss watching a dubs game.
I tuned in after halftime and still couldn't watch to the end. It was putrid.
Alright. Well that was not a fun game to watch.
Basketball for masochists.
I think Bob Fitzgerald should replace Steve Kerr. Fitz has got it all figured out, every game.
With Fitz' value that high we might be able to bundle him with Wiggs and a pick to upgrade the roster.
As good as any idea I've heard lately.
Bulls beat the Rockets 124-119 in OT

Meanwhile Steph legit gets shoved on drives and crickets
Podz didn't even look at a wide open JK
I saw that. Fast break and not pass it to that guy??
Man, Wiggins getting dominated going up against fourth string defenses inside.
The mission is to get him going somehow, some way.
Somewhere
get him going to Toronto... to Washington.... to anywhere but here
Put Draymond behind him defensively. If that doesn't work, then I don't know.
Agreed, that's the hope
That didn’t work earlier this season.
I think something was physically wrong with Wiggins earlier in the season, whereas now it seems to be something mental.

A cattle prod comes to mind
24-5 4th Q points; Pels-Warriors
No wonder CP3 was racking up 30+ minutes every night with Draymond out. Without him, the bench can't even get a shot up.
wow. this is going to end up a 50 pt blowout
Wiggins seems like the classic case of I got my money now I don’t care
Steph leading a team with Wiggs, Poole, and Klay as its #2-4 options to a championship may be the greatest accomplishment in NBA history.
Up there with the Dirk 2011 title?
Wiggins carried his weight that year though. And Poole wasn’t bad. We can’t judge them as players in 2022 with how they’re playing now
Yeah we can. It just shows how Steph’s tide lifts all boats (at his peak).
Steph definitely makes his teammates better, but let’s be real, Wiggins wasn’t even this bad on the wolves
Who cares? The point still stands.
You can judge them from their entire career except for a year when their team clicked around them, though.
As for Wiggins career as a Warrior, this year is the outlier not the norm

Who knew losing CP3 would make this team go from middling to bottom team
I wouldn't say losing by 40+ at home was predictable, but I do think that losing CP3 being brutal for the team was predictable. Without both Draymond and CP3 what would they have, like 35 wins over the course of an entire season?
That’s generous. Steph doesn’t know how to play without Draymond apparently
I think right now they are pretty disconnected as a team which is making it look worse than it could be, that Denver game and the ensuing Kuminga stuff seems like it had an impact that they'll have to fight off. I don't think it's THAT much better than this though, to be clear lol.
Oh come on CoJo, that was terrible.
I love that Wiggins is out there in garbage time. Earn that check
This transition defense. Bruh
