I really don't understand why they didn't sign Chriss either. I was super optimistic about his potential and at the very least he has the size and vertical spacing to soak up minutes at center while Wiseman gets in shape. The league hasn't been trending THAT much smaller lately. I'm really not looking forward to the team forcing Wiseman into high-pressure minutes when he's barely back from injury and still hasn't had time to make things click against easier opponents. Give the kid a summer league, a G-league, or *something* before you throw him back at the sharks, please!
Looney and Draymond are amazing, but we really could stand to have an option at the 5 who isn't so undersized and isn't coming off an injury...
I like IT and Quinn, but like a few people have said, can we just sign GP2?
I thought it was our POA defense that’s needs a boost with Klay out and not the playmaking/3pt shooting? The roster changes this offseason have gone a long way to addressing playmaking/3PT shooting IMO.
As for a big, yeah it would be nice, but it doesn’t beat out the guard defense for me. Plus I think JK will get minutes at the 5 to bring us the depth (Loon, BJelly, JTA, JK) whilst we wait for Wise (which may take all season for him to catch up).
Is this Ben Simmons fiasco going to drag on to the regular season? His value is at its lowest right now and it's not going to increase any time soon. I wonder if he'll be petty enough to where he'll play in games for the Sixers to avoid the fines and stink it up intentionally.
off topic: Wes Goldberg apparently leaving the Merc.
Disagreed on a number of points, and the podcast had audio issues ("THIS IS INTERCRAP LENDING HERE TO BLOW YOUR EFFING EARDRUMS OUT") but I realize I listened to a LOT of them.
I'd prefer GP2 to any of these guys, but, whatever, that's just, like, my opinion, man.
Even so, I guess I get what IT or Bradley might add to the team, but, can someone tell me why we would be interested in Cook when, if we need someone to not play any D and then miss a wide open 3 at a critical moment, we already have Mulder? At least Mulder has some other skills, too.
Please, no Quinn, i'm slightly curious on Isaiah, but i hope that it be Bradley.
I think is more important to add a C , i know the modern NBA doesn't care about C position, but it’s really important, we just have 1 true Center and is young and injured ( Looney is more PF than C to me) , Beliça as 5 is just an experiment, and Dray as C is always risky ( fouls risky)
The team sucks in rebounds, we need someone to grab them o at least generate to take the rebounds.
It still boggles my mind the W’s weren’t more interested in Chriss. His Portland signing is only for training camp, which surely the Warriors could’ve offered?? Were they *that* uninterested?
I'm interested to see who this big is. Because in my opinion, we have pretty decent guard depth, with Steph, Poole, and Lee all able to slot in as ones (and Iguodala back to manage bench ball handling for mixed units).
Off this list though? It's Bradley for me. Pretty hard no on a Quinn reboot
Kind of bummed they passed on DC, guess he really doesn't have it anymore. I find it hard to believe he's that washed up considering he's not even that old. I'd love to see all 4 guards get a TC contract and duke it out there.

Surprise wedding vow renewal. Is there anything in life this guy doesn't excel at?

Free agent guard Quinn Cook is signing a non-guaranteed deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

If F stands for "Fabulous" then give me IT...
Based on these report cards, and assuming their workouts resembled those ratings, I think my preferences are:
1. Collison
2. GP2
3. Bradley
4. Do we really need a PG?
5. Chiozza?
...
99. Flip a coin between IT and Cook.

Good luck, WG....

Isaiah Thomas' nickname is Pizza Guy. I never knew that, but I love it.

So, LEBRON clearly doesn't like Quinn Cook. Guess that's why he's not a Laker anymore...
