Clippers shooting 35%. What the...? They didn't shoot this badly when we faced them.

Clippers currently losing the Cavaliers. Seems like tonight's a trap game for the Clippers, since they'll face the Blazers on Friday evening.

Barnes hits the 3 to win it for the Kings! They beat the Suns 110-107.

Hot take: with the new rule, defenders are less stressed out while defending James Harden, and are able to focus on actually defending his basketball moves. His super power is gone. He is now a mere mortal (by NBA standards).

Wolves beat the Bucks, and Thunder beat the Lakers. Wow. I guess Wolves are actually a good team this year. And how the heck did the Lakers blow a 26-point lead to the Thunder? Did fatigue come into effect in the 2nd half? (They played in San Antonio last night.)

With the Nets and Lakers both losing, I'm starting to wonder if we're gonna need new villains. Chicago and Minnesota are both doing well, but I have no energy to hate them. Help, who is the archnemesis?

Lakers had a shot to tie it down 3, but Monk air-balled a 3-pointer. Giddey fucked up the inbounds pass, throwing it right to Melo for a wide open 3, which he air-balled. LOL 😂

And now Westbrook is ejected for being a dick with 1.5 seconds left.

The Lakers are once again a losing team…and I’d be lying if I said I’m not enjoying it.

Meanwhile, the Lakers have turned a 70-44 lead into a 108-102 deficit with 6m left in the fourth quarter… let’s see how it ends!

Whom would you trade for Domantas Sabonis? I swear to God that guy in a Warrior uniform would be a hell of a fit. This year 24 ppg 12 reb. 4 assist 40% from three 62% from the field. Plays that move the ball style too. I've never watched him much but what I've seen I'm covetous of. Plus if you believe 538s defensive analysis (caveats aplenty), a good defender. I'd be willing to part with any Warrior and maybe several, except for the core three.

Wow Charlotte is leading in Net Rating. Forget Curry's prime, Myers really screwed up the Dub's future in not picking LaMelo.

FOUND YOU GUYS...Geez, the entire ςrew from ''LOST NATION'' is here...I was a ςonfused pup with all the stuff I am involved in, I was not aware the ςommish had gone his separate way; thought he was part of the Dub Nation HQ and you had simply merged with Let's Go Warriors and Dub Nation HQ was the new name. I renewed my subscription on October 19 with the ςommish when I saw Let's Go Warriors on my Bookmark-the Dub Nation HQ was somehow no longer there; did not take long to figure out something was amiss when I saw no DUBY, NATE, ERIC DANIEL, etς....DUH...At any rate, my subscription with Dub Nation is not up for renewal till FEB/22...I've always liked the ςommish, BUT THIS IS WHERE I WANT TO BE. Too muςh of a gentleman to ςanςel the ςommish/my dumb, but there will be no further renewal. Thought I would share with you, as others may be lost, also. Just happy I found you again, and enjoy the great writers I am familiar with....

Now that it's still way too early in the season to rely on the stats, let's have some fun (stats are from bbref and don't include players who haven't played yet).

1. Name the 3 Warriors players who are currently averaging a double-double per-36.

2. Name the 2 Warriors players who have made all their free throws so far.

3. Of the 10 Warriors players who've attempted at least 3 attempts from 3-point range, how many are currently shooting above the current league average of 34.7%?

4. Steph Curry has the highest VORP (0.3) and Win Shares (0.6) on the team. But who's second? (Hint: it's different players.)

5. On a per-36 minutes basis, how many Warriors players are shooting as many or more field goal attempts this season than their career averages?

.

.

.

ANSWERS:

1. Bjelica, Looney, and Porter (pts/reb for all three). In other words, the 3 tallest guys who've played so far, go figure.

2. Bjelica (4/4) and Iguodala (2/2). Ah, small sample sizes.

3. Payton (3/3), Green (2/3), JTA (4/8), Lee (8/17), Curry (18/45), Iguodala (3/8).

4. Andre Iguodala has the next-highest VORP of (0.1) while Damion Lee has 2nd place in WS (0.4). Bonus: Looney has the team's best WS/48min (.236 vs. Steph's .209)

5. Everyone except Green and Iguodala. Bjelica is exactly at his career average of 10.8 fga/36; Moody's season numbers *are* his career numbers since he's a rookie; and everyone else is letting it fly. This... might have something to do with the team collecting a lot of defensive rebounds.

Is it just me, or is Wiggins looking a bit thin and weak? His arms look like sticks with no muscle definition, as if he hadn't been in the weight room in several years.
