Reminder for newcomers and old-timers: as stated clearly in the article, I'm not going to count any joke hashtags like #duh as a vote and I'm not counting any hashtags without an explanation. Historically, there have been too many votes with too much vagueness for me to parse each comment individually. I'll also delete all replies to pinned comments; you can discuss this in your own comment.

For all the reasons already mentioned, plus at least two more.

#YES - If Klay doesn't make the list, the list is completely pointless.

#YES to Rocco too.

Yay, Indiana!

Haliburton and Brunson are both great, so no disrespect to them; none either to our own guys, but I confess I watched both these Eastern Conference teams thinking how utterly dominant Steph would be in starting lineups like theirs. (NOT fantasizing about him on another team, to be clear, but just with a more robust W’s roster.) Steph with Bridges and Anunoby, or with Nembhard and Nesmith, plus Siakam or Hart, a really good floor-spacing big... Forget about it.

My dream scenario in the 2020 draft was to trade down and grab both Haliburton and Nesmith (or Devin Vessel). As it turned out Nesmith and Vessel would have been off the board before any likely pick the Warriors could have gotten. A team that was light years ahead in scouting would have taken Haliburton and Desmond Bane but predicting the past so much easier than predicting the future.

That’s good scouting! But yeah, I have unusually clear memories of that draft class, too, I guess because we were stuck at home and had the #2 pick. Way less info than usual to go on, but Nesmith’s 14-game season had produced a 52% 3pt percentage on over 8 attempts per game, which is impressive even as extended hot streaks go.

Shaq, Kenny, Charles, and Ernie each said their goodbyes. Although they are bringing their production crew with them to ESPN, it remains to be seen if their show will be as successful in ESPN.

Tip of the hat to BRUNSON...my respect for him just went sky-high...He was asked by a reporter in the post-game interview if his coach, TOM T., was the ''right person going forward''...

BRUNSON's response:

''Is that a real question, now?''

Reporter:

''Yes''

BRUNSON:

''YES'' ( Then, turning to KAT that was seated next to him, ''come on'')

As he stood up, and walked out of the interview, KAT following...

RESPECT !!!

I thought Haliburton would get the MVP. Surprised, but not so much, that Siakam got it.

Haliburton is their best and most indispensable player, but for this series, I’m ok with it. Nobody thinks Jaylen Brpwn is better than Tatum but he got both conf and finals MVP.

After Hali’s game 5 performance it seems pretty clear that Siakam was consistently the best player on the floor the whole series.

Yep, agree, which is why I was OK with it....

YEP, though I was OK with that, but, the least they could have done is give him a shout out and the mike for 20 seconds...

That surprised me too. Siakam deserved the MVP, though I thought Haliburton would get it. But then I kept waiting for them to at least give Haliburton some flowers, and it never happened. Disappointing.

They interviewed Turner but not Haliburton, which surprised me. I think that was a huge neglectful oversight because the crowd would have certainly showed their appreciation for Tyrese.

YEP, though I am OK with that, also, since TURNER has been there for 10 years...but, they should have given the mike to TYRESE to say a word, even if it was for only 20 seconds...
