As we gather together around ye olde internet campfire to watch the Golden State Warriors try to spring a trap game on the dangerous Utah Jazz, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the love and support LGW received on launch day.
We’re aware there’s a few minor kinks to work out as we settle into our new digs, and we would definitely appreciate your feedback. For those wondering about getting too many emails, there is a quick fix available to you.
Just locate the first email you received from a commenting thread, and click “mute thread”.
Bada bing! Easy.
Speaking of easy, it’d certainly be quite easy to assume the third seeded Jazz are coming into lay the smackdown on the Dubs. They have the statistical advantages on Golden State in several rankings (most importantly, the wins column).
But, as these Warriors have shown us, there’s no analytics for heart.
Well, thanks for hanging out everyone. Very good to get feedback on the comments features along the way. I heard desire for chronological ordering, find unread (the “new reply” loading is close to this feature), ability to include graphics
Warriors really can't defend that weak-side corner. Every time I see a sneaky hold/screen on the nearest weak-side defender, I always predict a skip pass to the weak side for an open corner 3.
Meanwhile watching The Zion Game on the iPad and Pasch just said, “it’s the LaMarcus Aldridge show tonight” sooooo yeah, not a great basketball night all round.
Tbh I’m okay with being terrible, develop the young guys and groom them so we can have a solid bench for and core for next year when the reinforcements come back. Plus a young star with our draft pick. All I see if a light at the end of the tunnel
Someone mentione Damion Lee's recent shooting struggles, so I went ahead and looked at his numbers pre and post-contract signing.
SMALL SAMPLE SIZE ALERT
In 26 games this season as a two-way player: 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists on .407/.360/.877 shooting splits, including a TS% of .537.
In 3 games (again, SMALL SAMPLE SIZE) as a full-contract player: 11.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists on .375/.214/1.000 shooting splits, and a TS% of .485.
Fitz explaining how he solved the latest iteration of basketball and the key is...trying hard when rebounding three pointers was really insightful. He should keep that stuff to himself, someone might pay a lot of money for him as a basketball consultant.
Dubs shooting just 36.6 percent from the field, 25.0 percent from three-point range. Jazz defense had a lot to do with those numbers, but not having any elite shot makers is hurting the Dubs.
Alright i take it back. I'd rather get an ejoyable loss like Mondays than this crap where the team is being absolutely outhustled and are content with shooting a crapload of midrange shots
Kerith with the shout-out. I see big things for you guys and this site in the not so distant future.
Yikes! Zero comments on GSoM.
Gonna rewatch "The Expanse" to forget this game. If you like hard space opera sci-fi, I will highly recommend it.

These refs are touchy
Watching this to the end. Ugh.
Spelly rockin it!
Chriss and Evans the face mask twins
Loose by less than 30 - Dubs goal for next 5 mins
Cute uncounted shot by Poole
Go Spellman go!
Hmm, trying to figure out how this works. Is there a way to delineate between read and unread comments?
Feels like a good sign of something that Klay got all pumped up for a big Chriss jam in a 30 pt blowout
QUESE!
Very little ball movement. Has Poole taken any shot in second half?
I’m really really really disappointed that they don’t have Smiley for this game. Seems kind of predictable that UTA was going to clean their clocks
Has anyone tried the dunk harness?
literally no one thinks there are no centers in the league anymore fitz
Even last year the Warriors had long stretches looking weak defending the kickouts 3, now we have worse defenders...and yikes...
Zion starting to come alive in case you need to stop your eyes from bleeding

Person who can put Gobbert in a blender is still 5-6 weeks out.
GR...III
Chase starting to treat Dray 3s like Oracle treated 3s by Mo Buckets and JaVale... roar for the novelty value
Working tonight and keeping up with the game through this thread. The good news is, this is much more pleasant than the sbn layout.
It’s been too many years of destroying the league so I’m out of practice: how soon can we start getting irrationally excited about the draft?
Just get DLo like 4 more assists and sit him for the rest of the night. Got his 20pts already.
Also, let Burks chuck it up
The officials are bored
Comeback should be starting anytime now... right??
I can't even remember Damon's last good shooting game
Apropos of nothing, my favorite Chase Center food spot is Sadie's Deli--great turkey sandwiches, they've got that great spicy deli mustard too
Meanwhile watching The Zion Game on the iPad and Pasch just said, “it’s the LaMarcus Aldridge show tonight” sooooo yeah, not a great basketball night all round.
Lacob cosplaying an upper middle class person is something I don't give a fuck about
Lacob coping with this performance by spending time up at the Modelo Cantina lmao
Definitely a letdown game... time to put Burks out there with the deep bench and let him fire 30 shots and boost his trade value
STFU Fitz. The Jazz beating up on this Warriors team does not suddenly make them championship contenders.
Is Smily available tonight?

Sup guys! Just checking in. We got “Beard Cam” over here at Chase going on right now during the timeout. 😬😬😬 📉
Ah yes, the quarter of death has arrived
Warriors gonna lose by 50
smh Gobert scored 15 points in the first half, we really are terrible this year
Kaleesi just looks so stylin next to Fitz lol

Warriors at half vs. UTA:
ORtg: 95.6
DRtg: 144.4
NetRtg: -48.8
eFG%: .393
TS% .455

Q: What's the O/U on # of players in the top 10 of this year's draft who will be better Smailagic? I'd bet Smiley will be better than eight of them.
Stanford band on halftime on my nba league pass feed but no sound so that's great
DLo's like four inches taller than both Mitchell and Conley, but doesn't really exploit his height and length as much as he should.
