There’s an energy shift around these Golden State Warriors. What was looking like a morose slog until Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody return has now shifted into…wait a minute is this team actually solid already??
Yaxel Lendeborg’s career high of 37 points against the Clippers last night really shook the NBA social media up.
Also, I find it absolutely amazing that the Los Angeles Clippers sold away their future for Kawhi Leonard, only to lose future picks in the fallout from Leonard’s departure. Meanwhile, you can take a look at Golden State’s recent draft picks with a twinkle in your eye. Brandin Podziemski just got a fat new contract and is a steadying contributor this season (he tallied 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists against the Clips). Gui Santos is a 2nd round pick who is getting 20 minutes a game shooting 48% from the field.
And then there’s Yaxel Power. Each game he plays, I’m seeing him impose his will more and more.
Let’s see if he can do it again tonight at 7PM PT on NBC Sports Bay Area, against the Phoenix Suns, in Chase Center.
It’s the second night of a back to back, with the Warriors winning the first against L.A. with Steph Curry and Draymond Green sitting. They should be fresh and raring to get some revenge against the Suns, who beat them earlier this season and also kicked the Dubs out of the play-in tournament last April.

15 games today, every team playing, so they're not playing tomorrow... if the NBA is going to organize their entire schedule around getting you to vote, you better go do it tomorrow.
Gotta get home wins against teams like the Suns if they are going to survive until the injured players come back
