Credit to Philly. They have an overrated coach, a crybaby superstar who refuses to play, and dirty Danny Green, and they are still balling. A lot of guys on that team I would be happy to cheer for if I lived in Philly. I'll support any team that has a chance to take out the Nets in the East.
I wonder what the proportion is of games where Steph has a terrible 3 quarters and goes on to have an amazing game winning 4th quarter, to games where he has 3 terrible quarters and then goes on to have another terrible 4th quarter... I mean, I know it's Steph, but if you've been garbage all game, maybe try to create a little more? I feel like he's done that in the past, but now he's trying to go super saiyan when he's having an Oolong night.
I think offensively Curry is becoming too one dimensional. He used to be great getting to the rim and finishing and even drawing fouls but doesn’t seem to be as effective anymore (at least lately). Whenever he drives almost looks like he is looking to kick rather than attack the rim, and when he does he’s not finishing like he usually does. New ball effecting his touch at the rim? Feeling fatigued from playing such tough defense earlier in the season?
Will say for sure the refs are not allowing him to get the landing space in the tough threes that he used to be getting. Hopefully once he passes this record and klay comes back things will open up for him.
As I've said before, we are beatable and no arrogance can change that. Steph with another subpar game. There have been too many lately and he is not shooting anywhere near what he has in the past. Green has flat out stopped scoring. Nothing can get him going. Iggy should never shoot a 3. If it weren't for Poole and Wiggs, this would have been a major blowout. Looney also had a very good first half that helped put them in this game. The bench sucked, maybe the worst game of the season for them.
I watch not just for wins or records but for good basketball and honestly I thought there was a lot of that tonight. Some amazing defense, intense hustle.
Iguodala certainly was questionable. Lets get some Kuminga/Moody minutes going.

Thybulle vs. Dort in a cage match.
I cant wait for Curry to break the record ao he can play his normal game
OK, post game thread up at https://dubnationhq.com/p/postgame-thread-dubs-chilly-in-philly
Please cattle prod everyone to move over there.

Smh they played good defense but Steph needed 10 3s to break the record. It would be more impressive to bark if he needed only 2-3

OPJ: 1/6 threes
Iguodala: 0/4
Bjelica: 1/4
Curry: 3/14
Poole: 4/9
Wiggins: 3/8
Seems like a lot of teams now have long mobile defenders meant to stop players like Steph. Much different from 2015.
We deserve to lose, stop talking about the fucking 3 point record and start playing good basketball again
Steph hugging Embiid afterwards. No killer instinct. Trade him! Blow it all up!

A rare no show from the bench offensively tonight to go with Steph being off. Too much to overcome. It happens
I'm not happy with this one, but every team has a bad night. Time to re-group.
