I haven't seen any mention of the goal tend that was missed on Steph's "blocked" layup. I rewound and watched it 3 times & it was obvious that the ball hit the backboard before being touched by the defender.

With all the complaining about Wiseman, if your could trade Wiseman, PBJ, and the 2023 first (which will be in the 20s) for Wendall Carter Jr, would you do it? If you are in the "win now" camp Carter, while he might never be a great player is a good player and solves a lot of problems as he is young (23) and has a very reasonable contract for the next 4 years. The Warriors give up a lot of upside for being competitive for the remainder of Curry's contract.

If Wiggins can make 16 of his next 25 3-pointers, he’ll raise his percentage with the Warriors to 40%, after shooting 33% with Wolves.

Poole's no look to a Kuminga dunk was the NBA top 10 #1!

I was getting mad it wasn't going to show up and then... okay then.

We are #6 seed!

Interestingly, we have played 2 more games (3 in case of SAC) than #1 to #5.

Jazz have played two more games than anyone else (including Dubs)

After the last few games, I think we've gotten a pretty good sense of where the Warriors are at as a team: strong, but sloppy, and not very deep.

I don't think this is a championship team—maybe not even a WCF winning team—as things stand right now. Moody and Kuminga are showing flashes of improvement but they're not reliable yet. DDV and especially JMG are looking like the type of regular season guys that you hope you don't have to get much run from in the playoffs. Lamb has found a home in the rotation and Jerome looks like a viable, if replacement level, player at the moment. Wiseman, Rollins, and Baldwin are totally too raw, we have an empty roster slot, and then there's Iguodala.

We have about 6.5-7 guys who can contribute big playoff minutes. An injury to Steph, Loon, or even Dray would be devastating. Klay, Poole, and Wiggins could probably cover for each others' absence a bit if one of them has to miss some games. Kuminga is showing some ability to play a similar role to Wiggins, too.

I think we need another one or two guys who can be part of the playoff rotation (not even counting Lamb, who needs a non-two-way contract to be eligible unless they're waiving that rule again this year). The most pressing need is a big who's more ready to defend and get defensive rebounds than Wiseman is or even will be this year. That's someone, besides Draymond and Looney, who can put a body on the centers we might see in the West playoffs: Ayton, Jokic, Zubac, AD, Wood, JJJ, Valanciunas, Sabonis. Even if it's just to soak up some fouls so Draymond or Looney don't get too many. I think in theory JaMychal Green was supposed to be that guy, but his defensive play, especially around the basket, has been suspect enough that I don't trust him. Past that, we're looking at Lamb*, Wiggs, Klay, or JK guarding those guys, which just does not sound sustainable. (*assuming Lamb is even eligible for the playoffs.) I certainly do not expect Wiseman to be ready to do that this season. Maybe before the season started it seemed possible but at this point the situation is clear.

Another ballhandler might be nice too, but between DDV, Jerome, and hypothetically a healthy Iguodala, we're not *as* bad off. And pickings are slim, so I don't expect this to get done.

But you never know, and maybe the best guy we can get is something else entirely. There's also still some possibility for "internal development" to fill the hole, whether it's Baldwin, Moody, or even someone else like Trevion Williams (unlikely, but I can dream) making an unexpected leap.

Before I forget. Congratulations to Anthony Lamb for fighting and conquering the disease of the century. I had my juvenile stint with depression, and in my life I have met several wonderful people who sadly didn't make it, and the bitterness that I felt for them becomes happiness and enthusiasm for people like you, that are brave and fearless in a way that can't be understood by whom is so immensely lucky to have never experienced that. AL, you're my hero. A ferocious baaaaaa.

A big lmao on Wiggs bricking badly at the FT line despite being supernova from 3 all game.

Also big lmao to past me who spent a lot of time wondering if Wiggs could shoot well enough from 3 to not be treated as a negative spacer on offense in the playoffs.

These stat lines that Baldwin is putting up in the G-League are pretty terrible, haven't really watched but he needs to be better.
