I think none of you actually watch Steph on D. Poor guy is everywhere on both ends of the floor plays 37 minutes has a triple double minus one assist and is “cruising” lol
I did not watch but just checked the box score and play-by-play, and this seems to be a weird story. The Suns were up 12 at 1:12 left and subbed in their garbage time lineup. From there, the Bulls made a free throw, then a Bulls 2-way player Malcolm Hill (not even a portrait on nba.com) scored all 8 of the game's remaining points, totaling a 9-0 garbage time run. I can't say how afraid anyone was of the game actually turning, but it looks like it wasn't as close as the final score indicates.
Thought that was implied in the "led by 17 with 2:26 left," but yeah. Garbagetime unit led by Malcolm Hill and 'Zo McKinnie led the late assault on the Suns' net rating.
My read of the original comment led me to believe there was a random ending or at least some massive win probability swings. "wasn't as close as the final score indicates" was a poor way to communicate what I wanted to clarify. My bad.
Yeah it's a really interesting draft. I feel justified over obsessing about it last June/July.
There are some guys who have done almost nothing who I am still pretty curious about like Jalen Johnson or Jaden Springer. I think we'll have a better picture next season, but even then it'll probably take like 5 years to really sort it all out.
I dunno, he looked pretty good in the Spurs game a couple of games ago and the play-in game against Memphis last year where he made the play to take us to OT.
As for the whole year, Steph's been pretty terrible efficiency wise in the clutch this year. But that's probably all small sample noise (as basically every single clutch stat ever is).
Here is some brand new space for you to dance around. Please use this approved DNHQ cattle prod to push stragglers over to the new thread.

Don't tase me, bro!
OK guys time to watch from the beginning for me... no spoilers!
Me too, only caught a little of the 2nd and 4th.
I'm pretty sure they ate dinner before the game because everyone feels like they're under the effects of food coma
Keep an eye on #00. :-)
👀
I’ll put up a postgame soon
Jazz and Knicks, our next two opponents, facing off now in SLC. Knicks lead by 5.
Just finished watching the game. Klay took away Steph triple double by rebounding the last OKC possession. Steph was right there.
Steph probably mad.
/Not
Bulls seem likely to drop from #1 down to #8 or 9 when it's all said and done.
Grayson Allen really tanked their season
By "Bulls" I'm hoping you mean "Nets"
No Ball/Caruso means their defense is back to being bad.
Five players in double figures!
I like this cruise control version of Steph. Only negative was his 37 minutes.
Sprewell used to play all 48, it's all good! Steph pacing himself out there right now.

He’s really stepped up since Green’s been out.
Here at DNHQ we hold high standards. Anything less than 30 points, 10 threes, 65% TS is "cruising".
I did really like his defense on the whole tonight.
Holy cow, Demar Derozan has been on an absolute tear this year. Every time I look at the box score he's dropping 35+ I thought he was averaging 30 lol
Curry + Poole: 17 rebounds, 18 assists
Both close to triple doubles too. Steph just needed 1 rebound.
Dang, Bulls only lost by 3 to the Suns. So close.
Sorry. No post game, had bball practice with Duby jr.
Do you angrily call timeouts when he turns the ball over?
Tell him to box out, even when up double digits.
Protect the Ball, Duby jr!
Enjoy
For anyone mildly cranky about our closing ability (raises hand): the Suns led Chicago by 17 with 2:26 left ... and won by 3.
The NBA is tough.

Not at all — your post was much more accurate and descriptive than mine!
No such thing as easy games anymore (except for the Lakers ;) )
I wonder what the top 5 for this draft class is going to be in 5 years
Kuminga and Suggs will rise to the top by then.
I'm very confident that it will include Mobley and Cunningham, we'll see about the other 3
Mobley will be the unicorn of the draft, I feel confident saying that already lol
Cade seems like a solid two-way guy as a floor.
Not sure about the rest, except for saying the Rockets and Magic might regret taking the Jalens.

Add Wagner to that list (I'll refrain from adding Alpie for now).
He's in my next tier of "confidence" where I would predict he'd be top 5 but not with the same level of certainty as those other 2 guys.
Fair.
Pretty damn good, I think.
I really can’t keep up with what Poole is doing in pressure situations
He's generally been good though (or at least not anomalously good/bad).
It looks like he tries to kick in the turbo and the wheels fall off instead

recency bias I guess
Curry got robbed of the last rebound for a triple double :(
ESPN has 8 assists?
I see 10 in their box score
Weird, had to close my app and refresh.
Abaddon u watching League Pass. This guy telling Klay I will never forgive you for Game 6. You broke my heart lol
I am but I missed it haha
