Don't underestimate Detroit. They are not as good as Cleveland, defensively, but they've got 2 big men that can give the Warriors plenty of problems and neither of them is named Wiseman. Shooters? Got them, too. If they are able to take out CP3 like Cleveland did, Kerr will have to rethink his whole approach with him. OTOH, this may prove to be an easy game if the boys are not too tired.

I count three (Duren, Stewart, Bagley Jr.) And Big Jim can get feisty now and then, if allowed to play.
Nothing should ever be underestimated, by definition of the term "underestimated." Ideally you always want to estimate things properly. And I think it's proper to rate the Pistons as a potentially dangerous but fairly bad team, by NBA standards. Which of course is not say to that any team should approach any game with a complacent mindset. The Warriors enter the game as modest 7.5 point favorites, which equates to about 75% chance of winning. 25% shots cash in all the time.
In any case, what we say as fans makes no difference one way or the other. 😊
Let's get a win in Detroit, take the scheduled loss on Wednesday to Denver, and call it a highly successful 9 game start (6-3, if we get the win tonight).
Yesterday's loss was just one of those things. They have a very good defense, and we couldn't sink our shots to force them to come out of the paint. We also played some pretty sucky defense. That's a fairly normal Warriors road loss, and nothing that I would be concerned about this early in the season. In March ... probably another story.
