Udonis Haslem is 10x better than any of the ESPN commentators. Why do the dumbest / most annoying voices always get the most airtime?

Have you met the average sports fan?

The commentators merely reflect the demographics of the sport.

And whatever, include me as one of the dummies.

it must be a case of lowest common denominator. perhaps the average tv viewer watches less than 10 dubs games, and changes the channel when trailing by 10. so announcers are always repeating things we know, trying to sell us the game being within reach, and apologizing/explaining away anything a casual viewer might not like. more chit-chat, less detailed info.

How sweet it is. I was more worried about the SPURS than any of the teams; they've been playing great ball and been hitting 3s lights-out. Great TEAM GRAVITY win. Everyone played their role. PODZ/MOODY Excelled. WIGS was off, but won the last one for us. HOFMERS showed up. DRAY WAS MY WARRIOR WONDER. KLAY hit the Clutch 3. STEPH was STEPH. Freakin MAVs are going to be tough...

Mavs are definitely gonna be tough. Hopefully we are too.

OK, drum roll please. We barely beat the Spurs with three of their top four scorers out (Vassell, Johnson, Sochan).

Can you imagine how we'd play with Steph, JK, and Klay out?

Expand full comment

Without Steph, Dray, and Klay we shoulda beat Minny with everybody (minus McDaniels)…

Luka had 47 points and Kyrie had 24 points against the Rockets tonight. Yikes.

Better them than us

Wiggs is gonna have to make up for his utterly shit effort tonight by going ‘22 WCF on Luka’s ass.

Good to see Kerr go away from him in the second half… when he’s off, he’s off

Hope Kuminga can play soon, we really need him (duh)

Expand full comment

Yeah what IS the deal on that guy?

High water mark of the season! The rebirth of the Warriors! Happy Easter, everyone!

This is how you beat the Spurs. Take notes, Suns.

Expand full comment

God, I hope not.

Mentally, we pretty much screwed the pooch on this one, beginning to end. We just got once-in-a-season Dray, and hot Steph.

Give the Spurs some credit- they are a way better team than earlier in the season, and Wemby is gonna rule this league eventually.

Expand full comment

3 of their top 4 scorers didn't play. Long road trip, JK out, and so on, but this is a team we should have beaten fairly easily.

Expand full comment

We also overcame utterly trash Wiggs and Klay games though (Klay’s Killer Klutch 3 at the end notwithstanding).

Expand full comment

True. Just saying this was a one-time thing.

We got a little lucky.

Expand full comment

We lost so many crunch time games not being lucky so… 🤷

32 points for Wemby tonight. 10/22 FGs, 3/10 threes, 9/10 FTs

What the heck was Pop saying to GPII? Kinda looked like he was chewing him out.

Expand full comment

It did, and it looked like Kerr was supporting/facilitating it

Expand full comment

Draymond's best game of the season. We didn't beat them at full strength, but still a game to celebrate!

Expand full comment

Pop giving some tough love to GP?

Expand full comment

Telling him to stop contesting when up 4!

…and throwing the ball against the stanchion
