Here is a home-grown graph of the game win probability tonight. The gray line is the actual score difference. The chart looks about right to me, but if you use this for anything important or anything bad like gambling, then you get what you get.
GSW were without Steph Curry and Draymond Green, who like many Bay Area folks called out sick to watch the Valkyries win the WNBA championship.
So, when the Clippers jumped out to a double-digit lead against the short-handed Warriors, it felt like a surrendered game. Until the Yaxel Nation attacked. Quite a bounce back from his last dud game.
The game did hurt, but never really got close in the second half, so we deem this game NOT Always Close Enough To Hurt™.
