Really glad Dubs never pulled the trigger for Markkanen. He plays so soft for a big man and was completely overmatched by Dray and Horford. Lucky for him that the Jazz are not a playoff team because I’d imagine he’d disappear under the pressure of the playoffs

Dubs steal totals last four games: 15, 20, 13, and 15. Can’t ever recall such a stretch

Moody now up to +0.3 off / +1.7 def / +2.0 ovr in EPM, 94th percentile on D, 88th percentile overall.

We're 2-0 when Big Al is starting and I really like that change. I think it gives our starting unit the balance it needed. Love QP but 40 year old Horford is still much better at everything. There are 33 games with 5 B2Bs left. Hopefully Al can start all or most of the 28 he's slotted to play.

Just read that Giannis’ wife and kids recently moved to Greece. That doesn’t look good for our chances if he visits often. I visited recently and the west coast is a long flight compared to the east coast. Then again I don’t think Giannis will be flying coach.

“As of late 2025, his wife, Mariah, and their four children reportedly moved to Athens permanently to be closer to extended family, residing in the Paleo Psychiko neighborhood. While Giannis continues playing for the Milwaukee Bucks in the U.S., his family has established a home base in Greece. “

Tbf, Greece odds a fuckton warmer than Wisconsin. Maybe his family would enjoy some Cali vibes tho

dont blame him at all - and given the state of this country, I wish I had an escape route out!!

dubbletrubble's avatar

That’s assuming the Bucks’ FO will factor that into their decision.

So if there’s a Giannis trade, it will be exciting and I will enjoy it. However, his injury timeline does make it seem less effective as a win now move, and isn’t that the whole point? Otherwise run it back with Jimmy next year. Also, I’m nervous about calf issues to the degree that Giannis has had them leading to potential Achilles issues. I think if it’s up to me, I might currently be more no than yes.

I like the part where we only have 2 games in the next 6 days and they're both at home

Sabiscrashingout.'s avatar

Is that enough recovery time for Butler?

Klaymatic37's avatar

Gonna be traveling for a few weeks. When I get back giannis to the dubs better be accomplished!

Either way, feels like something has to happen

Spurs beat the Rockets, helping us get closer to being out of the playin:-)

NoOneEverGotFired4GuardinSteph's avatar

If only we hadn't blown the Mavs game this trip would've been a huge success in the push for 6.

NoOneEverGotFired4GuardinSteph's avatar

Since November the Rockets have been at 4 fewer games played than us. Every time I check in surprised it hasn't changed. When the heck are they going to start closing that gap?

Would be nice if they have some 4 in 5 nights stretches coming up where we play them at the end of it, then we could really gain some ground on them

they are playing over ASB since none of their players are all stars :-) /s - just have to figure out who the other loser teams are :-)

Steven Adams is out for the season. Should be a big blow to the best offensive rebounding team in the league.

Have the dubs really played six more games than the rockets? Looking at the win loss records thats what it seems like. And if so why such a big difference?

NoOneEverGotFired4GuardinSteph's avatar

I think it's 4, not 6. But it's been that way since November!

meanwhile - good game on between spurs and rockets - VW is just plain awesome - playing his heart out and carrying the spurs in the 4th. He swatted a KD 3 like we would swat a mosquito

Currently 97-92 Spurs with 5:13 to go!

I dunno, last time I hooped against a mosquito I still got dunked on.

Utah has good offense thanks to their ball movement, but they turn the ball over a lot.

ServantOfLuna's avatar

On offense, yes. On defense, they are much worse. Not having Kessler for the rest of the season really hurts their interior defense.

Ando's avatar

I liked the part where they won the game.
