Kind of head scratcher when Warriors can beat Boston or at least hang with teams with stars. Warriors kryptonite, no name players showing off and lighting them up..unfortunately Grizllies had tons of them last night..lol..

I am going to go walk the dogs. They, at least, are very good defenders.

Whoever is not bought in needs to go. I don't know who those players are but it's time. It's not a talent issue or a playstyle issue IMO. Yes missing some key guys hurt as far as developing rhythm goes but there's an obvious disconnect on the court.

Anyone notice the body language between Kuminga and Dray?

Team played harder without Steph than with him

Expand full comment

That's common. When he's out they know they can't rely on him to save them

I'd be happy for Steph to rest for a week. He's still in need of a rest, and this team is going nowhere fast. As a benefit, it would open up even more minutes for the young guns, and they need to play.

Annoyed they lost by 9 instead of 7, now I can't even play the "they would have won this game if Cory Joseph didn't play" card.

Also the team needs another consistent source of scoring.

I'd love to know what happened to Klay this game.

He was very, very quiet (9 pts, 3 asts, 0 rbs, 34 minutes).

that's been the story of the Warriors this season. Yes lots of issues, Green suspensions, Kuminga minutes, Wiggins got Space Jam'd, Steph tiring out.but the main key denominator is Klay's shooting and play. If he plays well Warriors almost always win...looks like it from the last night's game..Klay..meh game = Warriors lose.

He was obviously pressing, jacking up off-balance, contested shots early and often. The team-playing, heads-up, PnR-running Klay that was giving me hope recently stayed home and Jack-it-up Bad Klay took his place. If he could just adjust to his limitations I'd want him forever, but if he can't then he's going to be gone from this team, whatever I or anyone not in ownership might think.

I don’t think offense is entirely the reason. It’s defense. You can win without a consistent 2nd option against whoever the grizz threw out there

I think the defense can get back to respectable as Draymond gets his wind back and Moody and/or GP2 come back and Kerr (hopefully) lets go of the multi-PG lineups.

We were middle of the pack even when he was playing. Maybe when gp2 comes back also we could have something.

This team needs to check their pride and hustle.

OK - who predicted that GG Jackson would make more 3s than Steph and Klay combined?

Look at the bright side. MDJ has drafted well so far so we might be able to make the most of a lottery pick.

We don’t get it unless it’s top 4

Oh crap that's right. And we aren't going to drop THAT far without an awful lot of luck. But hey maybe we could get that long-shot pick.

Is the draft class even good this year? There's not gonna be a Wemby, but is there even like a Mobley?

Expand full comment

Theoretically it's supposed to be a terrible draft. But they said that about 2020 and Haliburton, Edwards, Ball, Maxey, and Bane all came from that draft.

We made their scrubs look like legit NBA players. That's horrible. Where this team's pride?
