Even if we do really well on this homestand, I think I've lost any hope we make it out of the play in. The hole we dug is too deep when all the other teams keep on winning anyway (even ones with their whole starting lineup out)

:(

I don't think I've checked the standings all season. Too much up and down with this squad for me to care.

Honesty, I'm just waiting for the trade deadline and am expecting them to hit their side then

IMO Getting extra rest before the playoffs instead of playing an extra playoff-intensity game or two definitely matters

Trey Murphy had 42 points on 14/26 FGs, 6/17 threes, and 8/9 FTs. His talents could be useful in another team. The Warriors, maybe?

I've seen his name mentioned a lot as a trade possibility but I don't understand why the Pelicans would trade him. He's 25, plenty young enough to be at the core of a rebuild if that's what they want to do.

One way is a real lousy Pelicans FO - after all nobody thought Luka will be traded!

True, if we assume that the other team's FO are idiots, any trade is possible.

The Thunder-Hornets game last night has got to be the most WTF game ever this season. The so-called lowly Hornets played out of their minds last night and made the defending champs look like a total joke.

I see you also explained about the pause in E1Ps, totally understandable. For the record, I am fine if you skip the celebration audits if/when you start up E1P again. If those make it more work, I say forget 'em, make it easy on yourself.

Should the Warriors file a protest in response to a missed goaltend call for the @ Clippers game last night?

Expand full comment
Nellie's avatar

What’ll happen is they’ll change the rules to make calls like that reviewable, and next year we’ll lose a game on a successful challenge by the opposition.

Expand full comment

And when they review the goaltend, they'll probably find a proximate flagrant foul on Draymond as well

because it is a missed judgment call, and those happen all the time. I am just as disappointed in the call on Curry where he hit the floater. If you watch the replay, the ref is watching the ball, and watches it go through the hoop before he makes the call. That is a really bad look for the ref.

Excellent stat - I was looking to do exactly this after last nights 3rd Q - thank you! The wizards have the season record for longest drought - some 9 minutes or so - forget who they were playing!

That must be the reason why the Warriors are #20 in offensive efficiency. They can generate a lot of good looks, but we have trouble knocking them down.

I think so. At least, I saw a flash of light, and the next thing I remember I woke up in an alley, and I didn't know how I got there. For awhile, I wasn't sure who I was. And it has happened before after a Dubs loss when I was on DNHQ. Now, Daniel and Punk B would never do a mind wipe on us but Eric... well, he hangs around with cute pugs and shows The Shining twins in his videos, and you gotta be suspicious of guys like that.
