Post-game vent thread. Say whatever you want about basketball, but do not be a jerk to others. If you don’t know the difference, don’t post. Good luck.

Draymond, this means you! (Ducks. Hides under a table.)

This game defines this season.

They actually played their best game of the year up until the last 6 minutes.

A serious title contending team does not collapse for the final 6 minutes of a game.

They got physically overpowered on both ends of the court.

Their inability to get a good shot was telling .

Steph once again showed his one strange weakness as a player. He is very prone to making bad passes against intense defensive pressure. Always has been and always will be. Very strange when he is one of the best ball handlers in history.

They just don’t seem to have enough to compete with the elite teams in crunch time anymore.

They played as well as they can play and still lost at home. They need another guy who can create a good shot off the dribble. Remember how different it was when they KD? Curry is just not good enough to do it all by himself.

We MAY make the playins but we are not going to get beyond it if we continue to play like this.

Well, I can say this. I have mixed feeings about green.

But I know this, good draymond, I refer to him as good draymond now, is essential for games like this.

I'm ready for him to come back with fierce energy while not being a dick.

They were probably going to score regardless but us tucking our tails on offense was the most frustrating thing. The all offense lineup couldn't generate one good look and had to beg Steph to take hail mary shots

Fuck draymond and fuck Kerr, send kuminga/moody for a 3nd big asap

This game showed that we don't need Draymond. Obviously, if we had PPP, it was a clear win.

That last jokic shot was a Hail Mary lucky shot. However it shouldn’t have even gotten to that point. Curry was terrible in the fourth with horrible shot selection and that horrible turnover.

On last thing - the Steph slander on this thread is nuts. We’re not close to winning without him and he’s the only guy who actually scored in that awful Denver run other than TJD who he drew two and set up the easy layup

Peace.

That last turnover was still god fucking awful.

But ... he's going one on one at the end of the game on a night where we were doing really well with our team game. I don't agree with this. Call a play, run something, get a good shot for someone else.

Steph has done a lot more of one on one dribbling this season. Sometimes effective because of his greatness, but often takes the team out of their game. He seems to be trying too hard individually.

I mean we gotta spread the love. We no longer have Chiozza

Or Wannamaker.

Joe lacob needs a new coach now so next season won’t hurt so bad!

So glad Jokic put us out of our misery

Coma on guys, it was fun. They are superior in every sense. Murray is even one step above Curry, and I'm happy to see him win on the same hardwood where he got injured.

It was a fun game, with a frustrating ending but let’s not lose our mind and start saying things like Murray is a step above Steph. Come on now lol.

Murray is NOT better than Steph

Expand full comment

This is not how I see things.

Expand full comment

In no world is Murray a step above Curry

Expand full comment

Yeah, I was thinking that's wild. Murray was very good but Aaron Gordon hurt us worse than Murray did.

Expand full comment

Murray was the key for the Nuggets survival

Bla bla

Was kuminga injured or something?

Expand full comment

Nah. It was Kerr who was injured, mentally, for not playing JK at all in the last quarter.

Expand full comment

Eff Kerr. JK should ask for a trade right now.

Did the Warriors really have a foul to give with 3.9 sec. left and not use it as soon as the in bound pass was caught?

Expand full comment

No. They were out of fouls.

Expand full comment

OK- TV graphic showed a foul to give... but then I feel a little better about the strategy...

Expand full comment

It was a tie game- how does that help?

Expand full comment

Less time for Denver to get a shot off...

Expand full comment

Drain more clock

Expand full comment

Sorry, I thought they didn't have a foul to give so I heard this as giving them FT.

Expand full comment

wouldn't surprise if we did

NO moral victories. Warriors fall apart 20-4 Nuggets run. Great game otherwise.

And BTW: FU Draymond.

Emphasis on great game- because until the collapse, it gave me everything I wanted.
