Such a good first half too. I didn't understand the allowing the Kawhi switch so easily to shoot over Steph. Refs not calling PG for his hacking on Steph. Steve subbing in CoJo for defense instead of JK. Klay not forcing PG to drive on that step back three. The last play with that amount of time?
Honestly, I'm not even mad. That was a well played game of basketball and shooting variance did us no favors. I'll take the Steph shot to go up 4. I'll even take the open Dray 3P. I thought Steve (finally!) coached the game well in the last minute. The challenge was perfect, the timeouts were right. We just missed shots and the Clips made them. I don't feel nearly as bad as I did against OKC or SAC.
Just unbelievably shitty luck, too, with every good shot that could iced it (open looks by Klay and Curry late, e.g.) just barely rimming out. And the Clips winning it on a tough iso three off the dribble.
WTF?! Draymond takes the shot? Something is not computing on the Warriors. A monumental collapse, not our first one. The team doesn't seem to be able to play a complete game.
Great game. I loved our play in the first half, almost had enough in the second. Very entertaining. Not worried in the least, if this is how we play without Wiggins CP or GPII, we're gonna start crushing people. Very enjoyable.
Imagine your saturday without a warrior game. Kinda boring dull, whatever you usually do. Now think about all the pleasure you had for three hours. It's fun!
I think GPII on Harden in the third would have helped a lot, and Wiggins instead of Moody or Klay -- at times, not always -- on Kawhi and PG would have also done a lot.
Post game sigh: https://open.substack.com/pub/dubnation/p/post-game-warriors-cough-up-big-lead?r=3lm3s&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

I couldn't watch the game. What the hell happened?!
Everything that could go wrong late did, kinda like in the Sac game (but at least without all the idiotic turnovers).
:(

I’ll take the Steph shot, for sure. I’ll never take any kind of Draymond three down 1 with 8 seconds left. Atrocious play call, imo.
For my friend and I, we were joking that green was gonna make a game winning shot. I so thought we brought him good juju before the last play 😂
Yeah it sucks we blew a big ass lead but Im not even that mad for some reason. Lots of positives from today
I dont ever want to see Chiozza getting any meaningful minutes!
Draymond made multiple threes, Warriors had 30+ assists, and they still lose.
WTF… this team just can’t maintain a lead, like at all. They take their foot off the gas, and can’t attack a defense playing with extra effort…

Ok - 20 game in this team is not going to win anything- absolute crap
Stop Playing Lamb so much!
What? You don't like the Lamb-Wanamaker-Cheese-Wiseman lineup?

Also I really wish Moody shrugged Klay off and picked George up on that last play.
So, this was a Sacramento replay?
It wasn’t as bad of a breakdown thankfully
Trade Poole!

Thank you. My rope's kinda fraying and I need this once in a while.

Okay. I tried to delete a double posting, which I didn't do and it deleted both.
Let me try this again:
I did forgo my hubby's casual Christmas dinner and bocce ball for this. No regrets.
Not for me. At all. My entire weekend is fucking ruined. >:-(
Idk if that makes sense since we’re doing so well because the players replacing wiggs cp and gp2 and doing amazing

Podz is good but he's no Harden stopper.
Fuck, that’s the shot you get?
So painful. The LAC, SAC and OKC losses were not “random endings” so much as games where we had like a 97% chance of winning in the final minute.
Putting Green in the corner is wasting him. He needs to be near Curry, to set a screen. If that was a drawn up play, I don't get it.
