That's very interesting! The Warriors have a motion offense philosophy, so it seems logical for Steph to be a screener. It's beautiful when basketball is played with no roles, like someone as the designated scorer or a pass-only center. Steph's unselfishness is great to see in superstars in today's league.
Nobody would blame Steph if he said, I can’t screen, I have to stay healthy. Or if he said, I’ll screen but slip before contact (KD style). Instead, he’s the best small screener in the league and he loves to nail people with the screen. He probably should back off a bit, but I respect the hustle.
The other thing about Steph is that he doesn't back down when he gets switched on to a big man on defense. The outcome usually isn't great due to the size disadvantage, but it's not for lack of trying. If he won 3 or 4 more titles his legacy would be secure and he wouldn't have to do the little stuff to show that he is more than the best player on a .500 team.
Love the sneek peeks btw. The breakdowns make me a smarter fan, and not automatically shout at the Warriors to run Curry off a screen every damn time.

Great to see -- and super rare. What other superstar does this?
John Stockton is the only big name to come to mind... can't think of anyone in this era

Apparently, his plan was to bulk up a bit. As he gets older and perhaps slows down a little, I like that he's a bit more sturdy.
