Free Agency Watch, Day 3: Otto Porter Jr and Nemanja Bjelica sign, who's next?
Two big shooters.
We looked at Otto Porter Jr on Day 2. Here is a very quick look at Nemanja Bjelica:

In 2020, Bjelica became one of 10 players in NBA history 6-foot-10 or taller to shoot .419 3P% in a season (with at least 300 3PA). goldenstateofmind.com/2021/8/3/22607…

Agreements with Bjelica (confirmed, Woj first) and Porter addresses two of three Warriors needs with players w/injury history caveat. Good players, but risky for a team with top-4 WC aspirations

The Warriors will need to waive one of Gary Payton II, Mychal Mulder, or Damion Lee at some point to make room for Bjelica on the 15-man roster if they don't open up a spot through trade.
GP2 is the most likely casualty as a third of his contract ($659k) guarantees on 8/11.

Story on the Warriors signing Nemanja Bjelica to a veteran minimum contract and the role he can potentially fill.

Free Agency Watch, Day 3: Otto Porter Jr and Nemanja Bjelica sign, who's next?
Even though it makes sense for the team, still sad to part with Paschall, and "top-42 protected" is pretty weak.
But yeah, feels like we're pretty thin at the guard spot, especially guys who can handle and create shots. GPII and Mannion both feel like close but not quite rotation guys there. Would be nice to have a third guy besides Poole and Steph who can break the paint in half-court sets.
Saben Lee returns to the Pistons.
