I was just looking at the podcast thread from last night and I couldn't help but wonder, what's happened to The Draymond Green Show? No new podcasts for over a month now, and only two since The Punch - perhaps pre-recorded before Oct. 5? Anyone seen a statement about why no new podcasts?
Also, while Googling around to try to find an answer to the above, I came across this fun read from 2013:
The conclusion: "And so, if you bet on either of these players at all, put your still smarter than smart money on Paul. If there's a championship in their futures, it will be him that strikes first."
Reading between the lines.. both his podcast and TNT appearances seem to be reduced or cancelled. Advertisers don't like punching as it reflects poorly on their brand. Would not be surprised if both companies put an end to his appearances.
Years ago, my friends scoffed at me for the notion Draymond potentially a dubs “Magic” Johnson. As his confidence builds, might have to name him “Ching Ching” Green! “Ching Ching” takes it to the hole!
All the mediocre and crappy teams are slowly coming back down to Earth. The 1-4 will eventually be (in no particular order) the Dubs, Suns, Clips and Nuggets.
I don't know if I believe in the Clips. KL and PG can't seem to stay healthy enough. I doubt they hold onto a top4 slot. However, if both are healthy come playoffs, they'll be in the hunt for the WCC.
I'd expect Mavs and Grizz to be up there. Still can't decide on NOP, yet.
I had a lovely time watching. Only caught the fourth quarter but it met or exceeded all expectations. Westbrook hogging, bricking, and playing poor defense, LeBron rarely allowed to touch it, Laker defense a joke, Indiana forgetting they're supposed to be tanking ... a comic extravaganza for the senses. I actually saw that buzzer beater happening about two seconds before it did, the Laker defense was like "well, if you're going to shoot from way out beyond that arc-y line thingy, no way it goes in. We know, we've tried. It's super far."

That's beautiful.
Yikes

3 things to watch as the Dallas Mavericks face off with the Golden State Warriors | Mavs Moneyball: https://www.mavsmoneyball.com/platform/amp/2022/11/29/23481538/3-things-to-watch-as-the-dallas-mavericks-face-off-with-the-golden-state-warriors

Mavs sign Kemba. Does he have anything left in the tank?

Grizzlies without any doubt in top 4

Memphis might sneak in there too but I feel like this might be their ehhhhh year.
That kid Bennedict Mathurin is averaging 19 points in 28 minutes? I can't wait to actually see him play.
Draymond being aggressive scoring the ball again has been huge.
Not just aggressive but also insanely efficient. .655 TS is like a whole different player.
His 3 ball is looking a lot better this year too. It doesn't feel like a prayer anymore.
Holy shit, that Laker collapse was incredible
Coughing up the 17 point lead and losing on a buzzer beater! Yow!
The NBA is fun.

Rookie and supposed possible Warrior draft target Andrew Nembhard with the buzzer beating three to win it.
Well dang. Mike Brown is doing some amazing things. I hope they continue to get better.
They have a solid starting 5 and respectable bench. What the heck happened to Holmes? Saw he was a DNP-CD?
Yeah, they're a hella fun team. Hoping their season goes almost as well as the Warriors'
Kevin Huerter holy moley
And Malik Monk, honestly
Yeah, he's been wild this final half quarter
I think the Suns are gonna win this one.
Not so fast...
Hope this challenge is successful
That's an insane foul call, wtf
God this Kings arena is such a great environment.
I lowkey like the kings stadium better then chase in person
It's great vibes.
Logan Webb a big Kings fan. Had no idea.
Also didn't know Dusty was from Sacramento?
They really said Damion Lee was only in the NBA because of nepotism. OK.
lmao
Kings-Suns is a close game.
Golden 1 is LOUD right now. Thanks for letting us know, SOL!
Damion Friggin Lee
Won't root against Lee the man, but reallly wish he wasn't on the Suns lol. And another!
