A list of all Explain One Play articles and videos is at The new Explain One Play index.

In the second quarter of the Minnesota Timberwolves - Golden State Warriors game on 2022.11.27, the Warriors brought in Jonathan Kuminga. He proceeded to play so well in his role that Kerr never wanted to take him out, playing well alongside Draymond Green and also with Kevon Looney. Here’s a video analysis of all his opening minutes.

JK made some mistakes and more great plays for his excellent stretches. If he keeps on playing like this, Kerr’s going to have to give him regular playing time. The dream is that he would be a bigger Gary Payton II, being a dog on defense (in a good way) who can switch onto anybody and shut them down 1 through 4 and play respectably against 5 on switches.

And then on offense, just make the opportunistic cuts. Make the simple plays, keep the offense running. If he does that, we're gonna see more and more of him

I was just looking at the podcast thread from last night and I couldn't help but wonder, what's happened to The Draymond Green Show? No new podcasts for over a month now, and only two since The Punch - perhaps pre-recorded before Oct. 5? Anyone seen a statement about why no new podcasts?

Also, while Googling around to try to find an answer to the above, I came across this fun read from 2013:

Chris Paul vs. Steph Curry: Which Star PG Wins a Title First? https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1617760-chris-paul-vs-steph-curry-which-star-pg-wins-a-title-first

The conclusion: "And so, if you bet on either of these players at all, put your still smarter than smart money on Paul. If there's a championship in their futures, it will be him that strikes first."
