Another great breakdown. Hope JK figures out the spacing thing...

I really love how some dubs bench players bring the celebration energy, even (or especially) when they don't get minutes. What a great way to counteract the hollow feeling of not getting on the court. I imagine it helps to regulate adrenaline and stay ready too. Was this always a thing? Is anyone credited with starting this trend?

I remember first noticing it (high bench energy), when we had a young Bazemore on the bench -doing his bowling ball OK-three thing...

Always been a "thing" just some players bring it more then others.

Has it always been a thing? I've been trying to think back to past eras but I never really noticed the bench celebrations back in the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. Maybe it was going on and I just didn't see it.

Eric, could you please re-upload with the audio from the mic that TJD was wearing before his dunk on Wembanyama? I think I heard him say,

"BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL.... IIII HAAAAVEE THEE PPPOOOOWWEEEERRRR!!!!"

But TJD is not a center! Power forward! We need a center!

Tell it to Wemby.

About TJ‘ D ‘s stuff. Anybody think it’s not a coincidence that all the players went to the wrong places on the court and the outside of the court (don’t know terminology) leaving the center pretty open to TJ D and Wemby?

I didn't get to watch steph or any other dub play basketball today. It was sorta just an OK day. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

Sea dubs just won,if you have capability to watch. Down to the wire.

Santos, Garuba, and Spencer joined them.

Bucks don't seem to enjoy Northern California. Lost to Dubs and to Kings by 35 each game.

Wow. Wolves outscored the Clippers 63-37 in the 2nd half. I think part of the reason was due to Kawhi leaving the game due to back spasms.

So… are the Pels going to get the 4 seed or even 3 seed?

3 is odd, not even.

Milwaukee trying to singlehandedly prove that the Eastern conference sucks.

Useless fawns…

I had a feeling Kings were gonna win tonight because of how average the Bucks looked in their win against the Clippers. Clippers didn't have PG and Kawhi and were on a 2nd end of a B2B when the Bucks beat them.

I'm surprised LQ didn't get a foul for being in Wiggs landing zone.

Surely that could have been reviewed by Secaucus.

Lol......They are all capable of locking down (Wiseman getting better), move, rebound and score! Now we can shoot threes but capable running the floor and playing defense.

CP seems very different in the second half of the season from the first half. I am not sure why, maybe he was trying to figure it out. But now his shot is falling which makes his pnr threat so much more lethal and he looks like his old self. At least in that game. TJD unlocks CP who returns the favor. Stockton and Malone are at home wishing they had figured out this kind of chemistry

If we had Wiseman, Kuminga and Davis down low.....Oh boy!

Expand full comment

If you’re going to play them all together they need to move on a string and have great passing chemistry on O or it would just be a cloggfest, and great communication on D so they don’t have both bigs jumping out of position to rim protect at the same time.

Let’s just be happy that TJD provides everything that the coaches were trying to get Wiseman to do. And Kuminga is providing the turnaround midrange game that Wiseman actually wanted to do.

I can't get excited about that at all. Too many bodies to clog the paint, plus Wiseman would have to guard someone on defense ... for the first time ever.
