Someday soon the Klay Play's namesake will show us all how it's done. Preferably as a performance art piece wherein he sets a 3pt shooting record while the defense psyches itself out with, "surely they won't run the same play every single time" as the team proceeds to do just that.
Lakers were absolutely blown out (they were down 30+ before the garbage time units made it respectable) by a team that shot 37.9% from the field and 27.3 % (on 55 attempts!) from 3. That's actually incredible.
Kuminga is generally having a very nice game in G League but he's screwing his percentages with two point blank missed dunks. Very frustrating since he should have 60% from the field and 19 points, but because of those shots that he makes 98/100 not going in . . . he's shooting 40% and only has 15 points. Still, he does have 4 assists, 6 rebounds, and 1 block/1 steal.
Great stuff, Eric. Can’t remember if you’ve said this before, but do the Warriors ever run a decoy play and use an actual screen instead of the ghost screen to keep teams honest?
I just played my rec league championship game and ya boy dominated despite the loss.
I had that quadruple double with 11 points, 11 assists, 13 rebounds, 10 steals, and 2 blocks. I also had 5 turnovers, but let's not talk about that!
Final play of the game, I blocked my opponents shot . . . and airball landed in his teammates hand who tipped it in for the buzzer beater. Honestly, they were the better team, but my teammates were just silking it and I had their best player on CLAMPS.
