wow, at 2:20 left in the 4th, the Dubs had attempted twice as many field goals in the quarter as the Spurs (24 vs 12)

I’m catching up on E1P action this week. This one is awesome. Basketball, football, and a hairless cat make reliving the game so entertaining. Thank you!

Can someone explain to me how that's a travel? You get two steps after the gather right? It looks to me like he gathers while stepping on his left foot, then takes a giant sliding step to his right, then you could call the step back to his left the 2nd step? Is it because he slid his feet, does that count as infinite steps?

I will absolutely take the tradeoff of the embarrassing loss to the Pacers in order to get this exciting underdog win against the Spurs.

The Warriors *should* have beat the Pacers without their starters and the Spurs *should* have won last night. If we could only win one of those two games, I'm happy that it worked out the way that it did!

Beside a ranter on this forum, I'm also a poor sci-fi/cyberpunk writer, thus I love dreaming about the future. I dare this lineup in 2030-31 season: J. Poole, M. Moody, A. Wiggins, J. Kuminga, J. Wiseman. I can hear Frank roaring their names at Chase for the opening. The bench is clouded, I cannot recognize anyone except... is that Buddy Hield? Coach: S. Curry, surrounded by faithful assistants D. Green, A. Iguodala, D. Lee, D. Lillard, K. Love. And now back to Bukie and Klay :)

-- I had a weird night, tossing and turning, had this super weird dream that the Warriors beat an NBA team using no starters, winning in crunch time with Chiozza-Moody-Poole-Kuminga-Lee. The subconscious is such a strange place, maybe I miss my father... not sure what it means.

-- WAIT, WHAT?

-- I love Kuminga's assertiveness with the B Squad. Attacked early a lot (not pictured), played badass defense. On offense, as shown, waving Moody off, being an alpha, making aggressive plays to the hole. He doesn't necessarily have quite the skill set to pull off those Giannis drives, but he'll get there with work. He's only 14 years of age, or something. Needs to work on ball handling and finishing, but with that mindset and work on his game, consistently great things are coming soon.

-- Excellent decision to use a hairless cat in mocking Steph. Hairless cats are never not funny.

-- With 22 seconds left in the game, 14:42 stamp in the breakdown vid, Moody is on the ground scrambling for the ball, and you check in what each Warrior is doing. Notably, Lee is calling time out (if you scroll back, you can see the motion that brings his hands into that position.) If he had been granted that timeout, Warriors would be still down one with 22 seconds left and both coaches given a chance to plan. The scramble three was much more advantageous, so good thing the time out wasn't called. Refs missed that, and missed Poole's clear travel that sent the arena into frenzy. Can't blame Spur nation. But hey, we were on the road; and to be on the road, you have to travel. Boom! I'll be here all week.

Apparently, Steph was wearing a wrap on his fingers in the Spurs game. Probably the best explanation for the slump?

Imagine the confidence boost Moody and the younger guys got from that win yesterday. They came all the way back and won a game while fighting their asses off without their big brothers

Saw a good point online about how earlier in his career Popovich might have tested out the Warriors with a hack-a-Kuminga or something. Now that I think about it, it's pretty odd that he didn't even try? Doesn't have the heart to do it to a 19 year old at this stage of his career I guess?

Moody's shot looks damn good. I think we are underselling how good he could be when you add his hustle and smarts. You better have AFLAC if you are standing between Kuminga and the rim 'cuz you're about to get injured. D Lee played a great all around game and he is fearless when it comes to taking big shots. When Curry sits, Poole gets 30 points with regularity and his ability to get to the line and drain free throws will be critical in the playoffs. Even Cheez led the team with +17. And despite all of that, Curry's velour sweatsuit out-shined them all.

For anyone who was freaking out about the Baby Warriors tanking the team’s defensive rating: last night’s game knocked the Warriors lead over PHO for the league’s #1 defense from 2.0 points down to … 1.9 points.

Steph Curry moving pretty well on the sidelines for a guy with a bum toe (just sayin). You've got to love the fact that everybody stayed engaged and hustled despite being down big late in a game they were supposed to lose.
