Im not much of a football fan these days (you could find me active on the Arizona Cardinals SB Nation board earlier in the decade) but I do have a bit of a rooting interest for the 49ers these days and I could confidently say that I’m glad the Niners never drafted this dude. One thing is to double down on the idiocy of anti vax stance but another thing is to question the legitimacy of the election to go along with it.
Again his right. I’m not trying to shut the man’s ability to speak freely and I’m well aware of Bosas problematic past on the team but like I said my own rooting interest is so minimal that having this dude playing qb would be the difference between tuning in today and not tuning in at all (which I’ve been doing for awhile now regular season)
Cavs remain rated fourth by SRS despite missing Rubio for over a quarter of the season at this point, still first in the Eastern Conference.
Are we (and maybe I'm just talking about myself) underrating their ability to be the representative out of the East? They'd have to stay above the play-in line before I really started taking them seriously though, but perhaps we (I) overrated how crucial Rubio was to their team?
Dr Rogers told his child when things look pretty bad, look for the helpers. For me the highlight was not one great SC shot, but Looney in both games. Much of team seems to be trending down (injured or post injured?) while Looney is trending up. Kudos to Kerr for believing in him, to the new coach for honing his skill set, and for his perseverance.
We lost a game we should have defn win and we won a game that we should have probably lost (even if we win the game against Indy). Zoom out and We’re still doing pretty good.

Great breakdown. A few observations:
1. When you list the differences between the two game endings, you left out that Iguodala was the trigger man the first time, Otto Porter the second. Iguodala is a great passer and has been a great trigger man for out of bounds plays over the years, but he did seem to miss wide open Klay in the first game. Oh well stuff happens. Otto showed excellent skills, giving a good hard look at Wiggins and letting Steph get to a spot he could receive the ball. I do wonder if Otto's slight greater height and length might be the asset there if they had to choose again.
2. As asked last night, and repeating the question here to Apricot: It's not clear to me why Houston would not double Steph upon receiving the ball. As you showed, Wood would have been well advised to double on the inbound, and didn't. And then again, once Steph is dribbling in isolation, Houston really would have been well advised to have pre-arranged "If Steph gets it, double him," leaving from Poole, Lee, or Porter. Easy to say in hindsight and they were in scramble mode. But would you agree Eric that certainly there are players in the league including Steph who, if they just need one bucket to win a game, should always be doubled if possible? It has risks but I'm not letting the premier scorers just iso... right?
3. The celebration breakdown is next level, with research from previous celebrations, and I'm thinking the next next level is to start doing some fan celebration analysis. This might not be in the spirit of things (or legal?) but there's always some hilarious or awkward fan stuff.
PS 4. In the Indiana game JTA was in. I understand he's better for screening than say Poole or Lee, but it surprised me then to see him and when he got the ball he blew the layup. In the Houston game it was four scorers ready to get the ball. That makes more sense, mais non?
I read that long article on GP2 and it got me even more pissed off that Kerr didn’t let him finish the 4th quarter vs Pacers and win it for us (which he 100% would have)
Lee actually jumped toward the inside of the arc, and Wiggins really didn't contest that far out. Why are these fouls, let alone flagrant fouls? That might be what Mathews needs to do to generate power but why is he entitled to that space as well?
Since I didn’t catch the game could anyone tell me what Dubs most effective lineup was last night or was there even one (I’m gonna guess it had to include Loon)
Speaking of the trade and buyout markets, what’s going on with Tristan Thompson? Aside from his lame public personal life, Sacramento seems to be sitting him for no real reason I can find. Holding him back so he doesn’t get himself injured, maybe? Possible acquisition for the Dubs? Upgrade of (not sure - Bjeli?). The backup big man we need?
Love it. Even though we're going through a rough stretch right now it's still a pleasure to watch this team play. I'm going to cherish this season because I'm going to miss seeing OPJ play on this squad. I hope he stays but I don't blame him if he chases a bigger contract elsewhere.
Due to family obligations (and last nights trauma) I turned off the game at halftime.
I woke up to this E1P...
Of course it’s a Steph Curry game winner... Bang!! It’s Raymond Ritter, Frozen Poole Face from Wisconsin, Gary Payton left scratching his head at the altar... another gem Mr. Apricot.

6 B2Bs remaining.
1/31, 2/1: @HOU, @SAN
2/9, 2/10: @UTA, vs NYK
3/7, 3/8: @DEN, vs LAC
3/22, 3/23: @ORL, @MIA
3/27, 3/28: @WAS, @MEM
4/2, 4/3: vs UTA, @SAC
That 3/28 MEM game may end being a tie-breaker game for better seed. But it is going to be brutal - 5th road game in 7 days!! Hopefully we have full squad with Klay fully integrated.
Explain One Play: Kerr changes inbounds play, Steph Curry hits "first" buzzer beater to beat Rockets

Party like it's 2020!
Damn, but that was some genius E1P. Glory contrasted with failure, breakdown of Curry’s attempted exit, just too good. Great stuff.
this is DOPE

On both of Garrison Mathews' 4 point plays, he jumped way forward.

Loved this one!!
Also, I appreciate how Eric has this almost Marvel end of credits thing going. The non-play breakdown with RR was hella funny.
