As an aside, tickets for the C dubs game on Sunday are all reasonably priced. Back in 2019/2020 when I could afford to go, my seats in Row 6 of 121 were around $100. Same seats are about $100 on Sunday. ($200-300 this season). By the way, 2019 to 2020 was the. Season when all the people in the >$1000 seats near the court were working on their cell phones during the entire game, if they were not eating somewhere else in the arena.
No, no, the cost of regular seats now for GSW games in section 121 row 6 are about $200-$300. The cost of the G league games I went to in Santa Cruz in December was between $26 and $40 for seats about seven rows up from the floor.
constructive criticism: maybe there are other bad things that didn't happen to people who stayed w/ Steph other than getting fired? please don't hate me, and feel free to ignore.
Moody emerging as one of the better options for the pressure relief pass for Steph out of double teams would be a major breakthrough if it's real. Some good looks in here around his quick decision making and bball IQ (like when he knew that hedge was just a hedge and the defender wasn't going to leave Curry) that's super interesting
One thing about moody is he looks so much more fluid and athletic now then he did in his minutes earlier in the season, he looked so stiff and mechanical that I was questioning if he would even stay in the league, but now all his movements offensively and defensively look alot more fluid agile and flexible
He definitely looks more muscular than at the beginning of the season. I assume this is helping greatly with his body control and taking contact on his way to the rim

I've always read "Not very athletic" in the scouting reports as "Not a great jumper" and Moody doesn't appear to be a great jumper but you don't need a 36 inch vertical jump to play in the NBA. Moody is plenty athletic enough but it looks like he his now learning how to use his body to get to the rim against higher level talent.
Yeah he looked pretty fluid on that fastbreak. Your comment reminded me of Luka Doncic:
> That body, which could be described as doughy, was the biggest knock on Doncic leading up to the draft. It's also the reason the Mavs felt Doncic had room for drastic improvement, figuring he could boost his quickness and mobility if he immersed himself in their strength and conditioning program, which isn't a priority in European basketball.
Not making a Moody/Doncic comparison, just think it's a good reminder that 19 year olds improve in skill but also physically. (Also the Doncic scouting reports say he rarely used his left hand, but rookie Doncic seemingly went with the left way more than rookie Moody so it's maybe not a useful comparison.)
I agree, he's finishing so much better than he was at the beginning of the season. One issue he still has is that he makes things harder on himself by always using the right hand even when it's awkward/less optimal to do so. He needs to work big time on left-handed finishing during the off-season or other teams are going to notice that he never uses it and just sit on the right hand.
Yep that’s why I said on the game thread that we forget Klay went through some brutal slumps throughout the seasons. Our expectation of Klay this year should focus on strictly how well he’s moving laterally. This was the first game since he came back 2.5 months ago that he looked good moving around. About 85 percent of old Klay which is better than I thought he would be at this point.
I agree, I think all the dribbling is what makes it look worse, plus we haven't seen him in 2 years, I've always been mad at klay for being a black hole and chucking shots but in the end he makes up for it
Not too much because we were always low in FTA I believe and in the playoffs when the whistle gets swallowed the teams (other then any lebron team) has to adjust to getting less whistles
Let's go Kings. Double OT with a win would be nice.
A decent effort. Probably won’t pull it off from here but Joker looks gassed and has almost played 35mins. Thanks Kangz!

I had no idea G-League tickets were $200-300 each. Holy shit.

Kuminga is up over 60% TS, and Moody is at 59.9% if you take away his first month (from 11/19 on)
Since November, Kuminga is 37.6% from 3, 4th among rookies getting minutes.
Moody is #1 at 40.0%.
Kuminga is also at 62.5% TS and 22.8 USG.
The only four players with better TS and USG that get minutes are Lebron, Giannis, Jokic and KAT, and Lebron is only 0.2 ahead in TS.
In 2022, Moody is shooting 65.2% TS.
I know we're far from calling it a success, but the whole win-and-develop thing is a lot closer to fruition than I would've ever predicted.
20pts/36min for Kuminga, ~15 for Moody
Kuminga must run faster.

Yes it was like Final Destination for people who double team Steph
No one ever got impaled by a 2x4 that fell off a truck for staying with Steph
Gah
So if the warriors lost for 10 games straight would we have gotten a 30+ minute Moody compilation??
I pray we never find out
did Eric just mid-video flashy thing us?
Great E1P

Did he? I don't remember.

He better give Looney his shoulders back when he's done with them.
He definitely looks more muscular than at the beginning of the season. I assume this is helping greatly with his body control and taking contact on his way to the rim

Nah man his first couple of months he looked so stiff and slow it was very concerning lol but I agree hes learning how to use it and what to do
But not in G League games I saw
It really seems like a case study in: Players look slow and unathletic when they're mentally a half step behind.
Which is the explanation I used last year for Wiseman not catching passes.
Hopefully we get a chance to test this hypothesis soon!
And his dropsies weren’t nearly as pronounced after those first 10-15 games.

Sometimes they improve physically. Zion Williamson says hello.
Improve = grow?
he's cultivating mass

Today’s lesson: If you throw the Shining Twins defense at Steph, Moody will redrum you.
What is this? A new kind of post or something? Please explain…
It's an ancient ritual we're reviving from the distant past

Full agreement
Not too much because we were always low in FTA I believe and in the playoffs when the whistle gets swallowed the teams (other then any lebron team) has to adjust to getting less whistles
That’s because no one ever fouls S. Curry.
You telling me nobody ever got fired for fouling Steph Curry?
Irony. Gets fouled/mauled all the time and it’s rarely called.
Poole, too. He gets pummeled out there and rarely gets a whistle.
So it’s Curry, Poole and LeBron who never get foul calls
Well, I guess if you are trying to emulate Steph Curry, it comes with the territory.
I don't know, but I love that the Rockets are #1 in attempts and #30 in %.
